This knife was found on a main road in north Alabama. Had a bent handle and the tip broke off. Took it apart and straightened the handle and re-ground the tip. This has absolutely been one of the best knives I've owned and it's top on a long list. Great older knife I absolutely love it. Don't know how the newer models are but this one has kept a mean edge and though it's longer for a folding pocket knife it has held up great after a long time and alot of abuse.

Owned an Evo Jr for 14 years carried every day. Dang. Useful. Sturdy. Got a full sized Evo and can't put it down.

I've had this knife and carried it daily for over 10 years and it has stood the test of time. Blade didnt dull fast and i've only had to sharpen it a few times, but it's been solid. The folding mechanism wasn't easy at first but with a little wear I've had no problems. It's started to fad over time and we'd love to see it back in stock. It was a great buy and a solid companion.

Bought the EVO about 3 years ago. Overall, the EVO is extremely durable.... however.....the flipper action is a bit stiff. The blade is one of the thickest I've seen one a knife of this size and lends itself to certain tasks better than some other knives. Now that being said, I didn't purchase the EVO to be a pry bar.... it's a KNIFE..... therefore I expect it to be sharp and stay sharp for more than a few cuts. So my next purchase was not a Gerber product.....

This knife is incredible. I use it for everything...everyday. I love the material strength, the fit and finish, and the versatility of this knife. It is big enough for almost any job, and slim and light enough to not even notice it in your pocket. Gerber has always made great knives, and this one is no exception.

Of the several well-known folding knife brands I've owned in my lifetime, the Evo - Serrated knife is, far and away, the best. It's lightweight. The blade is easy to sharpen and keeps its edge for a long time. I use my Evo - Serrated knife around my farm, so it has many uses. I will buy another one without hesitation!

Wow, I'm completely blown away once again by Gerber/Fiskars knives. I have one of their old x-frame type folding knife, had it for approx. 2 years. I've had the Fiskars 14" hatchet about 1 yr., and it cuts wood fine to this day. I am most recently taken aback by their Gerber evo w/serrated edge. Feels great in the hand, holds a sharp edge for the most part, and it has a standard length blade. For a knofe this lightweight, you'd expect maybe cheaper materials or smaller amounts of material, but Gerber did fine in this dept. Great EDC. I work in a shop environment and I don't go easy on my tools, especially my knives.

I have owned this knife since 2011 And have carried it to many days on the job from cutting open bundles of shingles to prying staples and cutting open literally thousands of boxes. It has even stayed tightly fastened to my pocket in 34 States when I was an over the road truck driver with my father. A few months back when I moved from an ex girlfriends my knife was lost due to her hasty packing habits. And to be honest I was more upset about losing this knife than losing the woman at hand. I purchased another knife which was just not the same and no sooner than a week later I was reunited with my trusty old Tanto. Very ecstatic I chucked the replacement knife in the drawer. (Also a Gerber) And have since continued carrying "Ole Faithful" once again ?

I love this knife. It is well balanced, sharp, and convenient to carry. I do not own a more handy tool on the go. A month ago I lost the knife. A friend gave me a replacement knife that was similar, but it just was not the same. I immediately bought the same one again. Cannot do without this knife.

I purchased my first one several years ago and it's held up well, although the blade is made of inferior steel and doesn't hold an edge very long. Fortunately, it's easy to sharpen with almost any sharpener. The blade developed quite a bit of play (side to side) after a year or so but that was easily remedied using a tiny star driver to tighten one loose screw. Knife opens very easily with one hand using the index finger tab on the top side of the handle.

I owned a couple of the EVO tanto blades before this, because I thought they looked cool...which they do. The smooth arc of this blade makes sharpening easier, and let's face it...it a classy piece of work. Same stuff as others have said: I use my knife every day, owned a number of styles, this is my hands-down favorite, slim and lightweight with solid mechanics, comfortable on the pocket with a sturdy clip. Maybe too comfortable...I've lost three EVO knives at security checkpoints (concert, county fair, airport) because I'd forgotten it was there.

Ive owned this knife for 6-7 years now and its held up this entire time and has served as a trusty EDC knife. I switched to a different knife (non-Gerber) for a short time and it rapidly broke down so I happily returned to carrying this one. It has survived a motorcycle crash one rainy day and the only thing wrong is the pocket clip got slightly bent, but its still 100% usable.

I have the large EVO serrated. I have benchmade and kershaw folders full auto or flipper opening. The best feature of this knife is the weight and it fits easily in a pocket. I will complain about the one handed opening though. The thumb screw is useless as its not positioned to get leverage for easy opening. The flipper is too small to get leverage also. I can open it one handed about 70% of the time otherwise it just sticks half way and I have to wrist flip it open. Still a great carry knife but really should not be advertised as a one handed opener.

I own an Evo ti coated serrated knive. I love the strong clip, light weight handle, size/length. However the blade has all kinds of chips in it trough out the whole blade length. Including the serrated part. I use it almost daily and generally love the knife, but the blade sucks. I would like some input.

This knife was perfect, when I got it that is. I am all about durability and after just a month of everyday use the retaining screws already became loose and the blade lost place and became loose. Not too loose for discomfort and didn't break yet not a sturdy feel. Regardless a really cool knife. One of the best looking knives I have seen in awhile. Also, when the knife is closed, the finger guards act's as a legal switchblade if your quick with it.

Bought this knife for general purose use during my deployment. It has become my standard go to for any situation that I don not need the Gerber tool I was issued by the Army. I recommend this knife to any Military, police, or Firefighter looking for a strong, light weight knife that will retain an edge and will not rust. i have bought a second Evo jsut as a back up since my first one came apart from so much use. The only recommendation I have is keep an Eye on the retaining screws.

The Gerber EVO Ti-Coated Serrated Edge Knife is designed to be straight and continuous across the spine and over the handle, thus giving it a dagger-like appearance. This Gerber 22-41432 model features a partially serrated 440A stainless steel blade that is coated in titanium nitride. The handle is light weight aluminum that has seven holes cut out for good looks and to lighten the knife even further. The blade is held in place and released with a liner lock in the handle. A pocket clip is included for easy carrying.
