I just got mine less than a week ago. Out of the box, I was surprised that the opening and closing of the knife was not that smooth compared to my previous gerbers. Although the knife has got some weight to it in comparison to its size, that frame lock sure does its job and the handle is pretty comfortable in the hand.

I love this knife had it for years and a deployment the only thing I would change is the clip it sticks out and gets caught on everything but I still love it

Overall it's a great knife, has a good feel to it. Has everything that I wanted, safety switch, plunge lock, tanto blade and a glass breaker. Lightweight as well. The only thing that I do not like about it is that the safety switch is somewhat loose and that makes a rattling sound

Has been my EDC for many years now, it has never failed me. Perfect weight and balance, comfortable in hand and easy one handed open. Locks open great and holds its edge incredibly well. Only thing id like to see different is a glass punch and/or a belt cutter added to it.

Excellent knife. I've had mine for a couple of years now. Razor sharp. Holds an edge. Easy to sharpen. Very comfortable. I have many knives and this is my favourite.

Best pocket folder I've ever owned. A workhorse. Still give it five stars, but the clip literally broke on the car seat the other day. Have carried for a few years. Blade holds and a great tactical clip knife. Highly recommend. Now let's see if the Lifetime warranty is as sturdy! I'll let you know!

Love this knife it is defiantly useful, due to its serrated blade. Comes sharp out of the box, so you don't have to sharpen it right away. I have had this for over a year now and it is still really sharp will usage through the year. I have used this to cut some twigs to big branches and the knife has no issue cutting through the wood. The pocket clip for me is very convenient. Great balance and weight to the knife and completely Canadian street legal (for use as a tool not self defense). A good strong lock mechanism that is reliable, earned 5 stars

Best knife that I have come across yet. The belt clip is especially handy and the blade is amazing. This knife has performed very well for me. It has not failed to perform when needed for whatever I may need.

I've had this knife for a number of years, so long that i can't remember life without it. I've carried it every single day, at work, and off duty. The clip bends, I just bend it back. It still holds firmly. The finish wears off. Mine is almost silver now. If you have the small screwdrivers need to maintain it, and understand how to adjust the blade tensioner, this knife will last you a very very long time. I may order 2 more, just in case I lose this one and Gerber decides discontinue it. It's my favorite knife I've ever owned. I lost a screw in the clip the other day, I immediately emailed Gerber, and 3 days later, I had 2 new screws, and a new clip. I only needed one screw, but I'll take it! Outstanding customer service. I'd love to have this knife with a seatbelt cutter and a window punch. The only two things that could make it better for me.

Great knife design, highly ergonomic. The action is extremely smooth making one handed deployment fast and simple. Lock up is solid. So over all a great affordable EDC. That being said there are a few improvements that I would make. 1.) As everyone else said the clip is garbage.It bends too easy and it would be nice if Gerber would switched it to a point up carry and made it reversible for lefties. 2.) A higher quality steel would be much appreciated as well. I understand this would drive the price up but the design is deserving of better materials.

I'll say this - the first one I received, all the screws started coming lose. At first I was instructed to fix it: Thank you for contacting Gerber Blades. To resolve this issue, please tighten your clip screws using a T6 Torx Wrench. However, prior to tightening, please place a drop of blue or purple loctite on the clip screws. The Loctite (thread locker) will dry much like a rubber adhesive and help prevent the screws from backing out. After it started happening again, Gerber replaced it and the second one has been rock solid.
