I recieved this knife as a gift over 10 years ago, and I have had it on my belt neary every day since. It was light and low profile. It went through years of backpacking and camping without a problem. I just lost it, but it performed very well for much longer than I expected.

Fantastic design that I sincerely miss when I do not have it on me. Finger hole is great for support and to give a spin before holstering your blade. I've used this knife for everything and it is super easy to open and close just takes some use. Anytime someone sees the remix they have to get their hands on it. I've always had people offer me money for it but I have had it for too long.

I have had this knife for a year and I have only needed to sharpen it once, it's a little hard to clean but it's made out of really good steel and the fit is nice perfect for all boyscout needs.

I love this knife so much I got two. I had the similar Gerber Chameleon before this, but this is a vast improvement. I read through these reviews and I think many don't know wet lubing it isn't the way to go. It's better to make a tool out of strong paper clips to loosen the ring a tad, then throw some graphite on it. Works like a charm and the ring never needs re-tightening. Mine now open fast and quick one-handed. For those that had the fixed-ring Gerber Chameleon that was very similar, but with a nylon handle. Know this knife is a vast improvement on the design concept and tension adjustability.

This knife has been a workhorse and has held up very well. It's a well thought out design, entirely useful. It benefits once in a while from a drop of oil in the action but you have to expect that when it gets carried constantly and used daily. More than worth the small price

I've carried for about 1 year. It opens smooth. I love the way it feels in my hand. It's thin as well.

I love this knife, had it a few years now. Fits perfect in my hand and the finger hole means it can get hard use without worrying about slipping. I've never had problems opening it one handed, in fact I've got it broken in nicely to the point I can flick it open. It's a great knife. The only problem, and it's a big problem, is the crappy no name stainless steel blade. It won't hold an edge worth a damn. You will end up sharpening it every three days even after minimal use. If Gerber made this in a good steel I'd never own another knife. as it is, it's relegated to foot scratcher.

Over all a good knife Ive owned this one for a few weeks lightweight east carry a bit hard to open but if the thumb studs were a bit longer I dont think that would be a problem. Looks awesome has a good sturdy feeling in the hand and the blade stays nice and sharp. Thanks Gerber for another great knife

I would say this is one of my favorite knives ever owned. For one, It's Gerber, not to mention given to me by someone special. I like the thin design. Most of all about the design I'd say the Thumb Stud or the Finger Loop I'm not to sure what the proper term is but it just makes it look that much more flashy and catches the eye. As far as the blade itself well it's built just as well as every other Gerber steel product I've ever owned. I'd recommend this to anyone......

This is one of the toughest folders I have ever seen. I have used this knife all day every for months on end opening boxes, cutting strapping, cutting cardboard, etc. The blade holds a relatively good edge and is pretty easy to sharpen. The serrations are great for cutting strapping. The opening is rather difficult. I recommend adding some Hoppe's #9 to the swivel. Over all a very good knife.

Have had this knife for three years and have not been disapointed. Can put a sharp edge on it and it keeps it. Can open with one hand easily and blade is very stable. Serrated edge works well. When I finally wear this one out I will definatly be getting another.
