Had it for years. Fine steel, easy cleaning. Light but sturdy. Lost it some time ago. Need a new one now and it will be this.

This knife is great and very sharp. Keeps an edge for a long time but the cutouts in the handle are to big, I went to pickup my knife and my finger slipped into the hole and nearly sliced my finger tip off. This knife is good but be careful when opening!!!

This knife is awesome. Looks good, feels good and great at opening one handed. Super sharp our of box. I see some people having an issue opening one handed, but the thumb pin makes this easy BUT I did have to loosen the bolt that holds the blade. Many knives and tools need some adjustment to get them the way I like them, but to me that is part of the adventure. Thanks for a great knife.

The paraframe is by far the best EDC knife that I have ever used. The size is just right for my hand and still gets the job done. For any job that requires a knife I pull this out and it gets the job done. Has not let me down once. I would definitely but this knife again.

Purchased this knife as an addition to my SOG Elite II, because this was to be my lighter of the two every day carry's. Like this knife, however I did have to take a torx bit screwdriver and loosen the blade. It was too tight out of the package for me to unfold one handed, since I have a smaller hand, otherwise the overall product is very good.

Bought on a whim at Tractor Supply. Originally meant to use this for applications that spare my regular folding pocket knife. Now I use it for everything. It has been 3 years. Avery good investment for the original price. Sturdy, easily cleaned. I have never had to worry about the screws in the handle. Solid as a rock.

For the price .. it's a good beater with nothing extra. Combo it with a cheap carbide sharpener, like when you were 13, and abuse it into oblivion.

First knife bought with great quality. Any other bought previously either the backstop would snap or the blade would chip too easily. Love it's slick design and how it's overall light in weight, fits perfectly in my somewhat small-ish hands. I overly enjoy how much flatter the whole thing is folded up compared to some, makes EDC perfect and less annoying. Had mine for almost 2 years now with no need to replace yet.

I've got several different gerber knives like the MT450 multi tool , gerber one flip, rip stop 2, and the para frame 1. Really like my gerber knives really well I carry the para frame clipped to my pocket I really like how sharp it stays and how easy it is to sharpen and is very light weight to carry. Plan on taking it to my camper in the spring time in April when I open back up for the 2019 season I am carrying it now and have used it several times plan on getting my use out of it while camping all year long

I love this knife. I carry one everywhere. I actually have TWO of these BUT they are not constructed the same. One is lighter than the other in weight and is my preferred one. They are the exact same "style" but not identical due to weight differences.

Got this knife as an EDC , and it works well. The thumb stud allows you to open it as fast as an automatic knife. It had a nice edge and can hold it. But, like somebody else said, the thumb stud catches on your skin when you reach in your pocket.

I have had this knife for a while. it is awesome. feels nice in the hand, brand new it opened smoothly and easy and still does, it has a good edge that lasts, belt clip is nice and not to far out. A great first knife. the only thing I don't like is how far out the thumb pegs stick out on the sides, because of my work wearing a tool belt I have to keep it clipped to my pocket so every time I reach into my pocket for something it tears skin off.

This is a nice knife to carry. Small and easy to use. I thought I lost the knife and purchased another. Of course I found the first one and decided to keep both. The biggest drawback that both knives take two hands to open and since my fingernails are grounded down, it is very hard to close the knives. As for sharpness, it came sharp and is easy to sharen when needed.

This was one of my first knives. I would get it at dicks sporting good store for around 15usd. Used it for work all the time. I lost a few and did not care because for 15 bucks it is not a big deal. I was able to hold on to one for 2 years and the blade would dull. I would sharpen it up and start using it again. Then it would dull in a week. Then every day. At which point it came to me that this type of knife was meant to be replaced every so often. That was when I started using more expensive knives. From other companies.

When I was a young man, Canadian Forces personnel were issued the rather "dodgy" C5 scout folders. Fortunately, we were allowed to privately purchase Victorinox "Spartan" model pocket knives. Also, base CANEX stores stocked the Gerber "Paraframe I". And this rugged basic folder is up to any task one could realistically ask of a medium sized pocket knife. Does it need some "fettling" out of the box? Well, yes, you'll have to put a decent 20 degree edge on the blade. And you'll have to "break in" the blade close detente with lots of fine machine oil and a zillion practice opening and closings. But, for around $15, you get a reliable "beater" EDC knife...which will faithfully serve you for years to come!

Just bought this as a gift for myself from Wal-Mart for use as an everyday carry. I found the action to be too tight to be opened one handed. Once opened the blade lock was very difficult to disengage. The overall quality is good and the blade is razor sharp. Being a prepackaged knife I was not able to handle it before purchasing. I would not have bought it with such a tight action. I will keep this as a backup pack knife and look at other Gerbers at a shop where I can handle the knives first. ..

I bought mine as I could not pass up on the value it was priced at. Never been a fan of the skeleton handle but was able to paracord wrap that area so that it made the hold a lot more comfortable. Easy to carry knife and with paracord feels really good in my hand.

I've had this knife for a few months now, and love it. It's a great all-around tool. If fits nicely into my pocket and I have been pleased with the strength of the clip. I've used it for everything from cleaning fish to cutting rope.

Just bought this for my son for his outdoors camps this summer. He's already gotten busy crving spears and cutting down blacberry bramble to make twine.
