I bought two because I heard these are hit or miss. As they come with the ill fitting China made Stanley blades there is a lot of play up and down. The jiggle in the blade is more than the original I own with the screw however if you take those blades that come with the thing and toss them and put in an Erwin blue stripe bi metal blade right away you'll not only note that the made in the USA Erwin blades fit correctly but the play is all but gone or gone completely afterwards. Get the slightly better fitting USA blades you'll love this knife even more. It stepped my own new one up to no give or movement at all in the blade once installed so if you get a good one with a good fit and retention thumb spring you'll really like this knife.but the one is not as good fitting as the other so they can be somewhat inconsistent but if you do get a good one it's really good!

I've had this knife for 6 years and it has never disappointed me, nor have I cut myself using it. Best folding 'box cutter' I've ever owned! Need in more colors.
