I would recommend this for a boy scout or other young enthusiast. It is a good starting point for a survival bag. Add some fishing supplies, kindling, and first aid cream to really make it a "real" kit. It's good for the price, but most adults would be better off with the larger version of this kit

Useful. I was able to do an overnight survival with it but I'd definitely like to see the kit upgraded in the future. Put a BG knife in instead of the Paraframe, put 550 paracord in as the cordage, add some first aid stuff, and also add some water purification tablets

Great kit, though the inner bag broke. Other than that, nice kit. PS Gerber, you should make a Bear Grylls Pro Kit with a flashlight, compass, first aid elements, mini axe, knife, and a reflective blanket

This is a nice little kit. I like that you can add small extras like a compass or multi tool. My only issue is that the whistle is kinda cheap and not very loud. But the knife is really good and light. I would recommend this kit to a friend.

This is a pretty solid kit for hiking. A little over priced tho. And I would add an emergency blanket to it.

I really enjoy this kit. It seems complete except for water. I've had no problems with the fire starter and the knife is very nice.

One of the best survival kit and the Mini Para Frame knife & fire Starter kit makes it worth purchasing - would suggest to add a good quality whistle to this kit as this kits Represents a great Brands- Bear Grylls & Gerber.
