The Gen 2.0 KVM products, including the EXT-UHD-LANS-TX & RX, are equipped with enhanced features and functionalities such as 4K Ultra HD with HDR support, built-in scalers, and video-wall control. They also offer independent RS-232, IR, and audio routing, and are backward-compatible with Gefen's first-generation products.
This HDMI Over IP Receiver supports a maximum input resolution of 4K 60 Hz 4:2:0 and a maximum output resolution of 4K 30 Hz 4:4:4, along with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4. It also allows for 7.1 channels of HBR (High Bit Rate) lossless and LPCM digital audio to pass through the system.
The device's built-in scaler optimizes the image for a variety of displays and viewing environments. It also features a powerful video wall controller that accommodates any screen configuration up to 16x16, providing flexibility in sizing and manipulating live and signage content in demanding installations.
The Receiver's digital and analog audio break-out de-embeds audio from the video and sends it to a separate audio system, enhancing the impact of presentations. Power-over-Ethernet allows the Sender and Receiver units to be powered through a standard PoE-enabled IP network switch, eliminating the need for external power supplies.
The Gefen 4K Ultra HD HDMI Over IP Receiver is designed for use with the Gefen Syner-G software, which simplifies initial IP configuration. The device also includes a built-in 2-port Gigabit switch on the Receiver, allowing for daisy-chaining of additional Receivers or other IP-enabled devices.
