From Gefen, a leader in AV over IP solutions, comes the 4K DisplayPort KVM Over IP Transmitter, a high-performance, scalable, and secure AV routing and distribution device designed for use over a standard Gigabit Local Area Network. This second-generation KVM product boasts enhanced features and functionality, including 4K Ultra HD with HDR support, built-in scalers, and video-wall control. The EXT-DPKA-LANS-TX & RX models offer a maximum input resolution of 4K 60 Hz 4:2:0 and a maximum output resolution of 4K 30 Hz 4:4:4. They also support HDCP 2.2 and 1.4, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. With the ability to independently route USB, RS-232, 2-way IR, and audio between any Sender and Receiver unit, this device provides users with complete control over sources and displays within their network. The Receiver unit features a built-in scaler to optimize images for various displays and viewing environments, and a powerful video wall controller that can accommodate any screen configuration up to 16x16. The Receiver also includes a USB hub with two USB 2.0 and two USB 1.1 ports, making it perfect for collaborative and interactive installations. The audio outputs on the Receiver units are compatible with both headphones and line level devices such as powered speakers, providing maximum versatility. The new KM Emulation feature allows for real-time, simultaneous Keyboard and Mouse control of each source from all connected workstations. Power-over-Ethernet capabilities mean the Sender and Receiver units can be powered through a standard PoE-enabled IP network switch, eliminating the need for external power supplies. When used with the EXT-CU-LAN Matrix Controller, system configuration is automated and quick, and its MFU (Mass-Firmware-Update) feature ensures the entire system stays up-to-date. Designed specifically for use with the Gefen Syner-G software, this 4K DisplayPort KVM Over IP Transmitter can be used as a KVM extender in a one-to-one system, or as a node in a virtual matrix environment where any source can be routed to any or all displays, supporting up to 39,900 Senders and a combination of over 65,000 units. Ideal for high performance AV and signage systems in a variety of settings, including sports bars, restaurants, boardrooms, command and control centers, museums, airports, classrooms, auditoriums, hotels, and retail establishments. The Sender features a 1U tall and half-rack-width enclosure, perfect for rack-mounting using the Gefen EXT-RACK-1U-GRY rack tray. The low-profile Receiver unit can also be rack-mounted, surface-mounted, or placed on a shelf. With the Gefen 4K DisplayPort KVM Over IP Transmitter, you can extend the range of your AV distribution system far beyond the limits of a point-to-point video distribution system.
