With Gefen's innovative Daisy Chain HD System, you can distribute high-definition video to multiple displays in a series using advanced Video Over IP techniques. This robust system allows you to connect up to 30 displays using CAT-5e cables in a Daisy Chain mode, and up to 100 displays when combining Daisy Chaining and Tree Topology distribution.

The system comprises three key modules: The Sender, which connects to the HD source, the Splitter module, which links to the Sender unit using a CAT-5e cable, and the Receiver unit, which connects to the Sender or Splitter via CAT-5e cable and to the display via an HDMI cable. The Splitter unit also features an HDMI output for direct display connection.

This user-friendly system simplifies the extension of HDMI and control signals, creating a sophisticated network of displays with the capability to route IR-control back from each display location to the source. RS-232 commands can also be distributed over this daisy-chained network to execute commands such as turning all displays on or off.

Each CAT-5e cable between the Source, Splitter, and Receiver units can be extended up to 330 feet (100 meters), supporting up to 100 high-definition displays at resolutions up to 1080p Full HD and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). A guaranteed latency of less than a frame ensures that all displays reproduce audio and video in perfect sync.

The Daisy Chain HD System supports HDMI features such as resolutions up to 1080p Full HD and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA), HDCP compliance, 12-bit Deep Color, LPCM 7.1 Audio, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio, 3DTV pass-through, and Lip Sync pass-through.

The system also features field-upgradable firmware (via the RS-232 port on the Sender unit), locking power supply connectors, and is wall or under-shelf mountable, making it a versatile and reliable choice for your audio and video needs.
