As a professional media designer / installer I highly recommend the Geffen 4K Ultra HD 600MHz HDBase T Extender.  It is a very easy device to install and setup!  It is an excellent choice for applications when the television is located away from all of the source devices.   Communicating over a single CAT5 or Cat6 cable, it eliminates the need to run a long HDMI from point to point.  Long running HDMI can cause signal loss and even worse if the delicate ends ever get damaged, you are really in a bad situation.  Your only recourse is to open the walls to replace the bad cable, then repaint the entire room?  The cost of this can be outrageous!  The other benefit is that this device transmits at true 4K video standards.  If ever the HDMI format changes you can simply replace it with a new device.  For those who are still using IR to control the source devices, it has bi-directional IR support. All of these features and more over a single CAT5 or CAT6 cable.  (For new construction I suggest you install 2 -4 Cat6 cables you will be better equipped for any other future requirements of your entertainment area.  The price of the device is very reasonable.  I use this for every installation when the source equipment is located away from the entertainment area.
