Excellent computer speakers and easy set-up

The 3-piece speaker system was easy to set up, which is good, because the directions are a bit sparse. After clearing a little space on my desk for the fairly large sub-woofer/power unit, everything went together well. The satellite speakers take very little space, and the clear plastic units nearly disappear without the LED lights. I tried it with the hard wire in my speaker jack first, and it worked well. Then I set up the BlueTooth with remarkably little trouble, although Windows 10 identified it as wireless headphones. Total setup time was about 10 minutes. I probably won't use the pulsing LED lights at all, but they could be kicky for someone who needs that type of additional sensory experience. Although the instructions don't provide any indication of uses other than as speakers for the computer, it appears that it could work with a smart phone, including providing for telephone conversations -- the sub-woofer unit includes a microphone and an "End Call/Hang Up" button. I'll try those another time. I wasn't able to make the volume as loud as the 20-year-old Boston speakers this unit replaces, but that will be OK for my uses. It certainly makes the music sound better than the speakers in my laptop. By the way, delivery was quick -- less than four days after shipment from New Jersey to delivery in Denver.
