I'm not convinced of the calibration...my whites are grayish. Have calibrated twice. Will try again. It's very easy to use.

It was easy to set up, and automatic in its screen evaluation. The next print just popped with color balance and range. So glad I bought it. It made an immediate difference in how my screen appeared.

This performed my screen calibration very smoothly. The before-and-after display showed very little difference, but my prints seem to be precisely as I see them on the computer (MacBookPro) screen, so I'm thinking it worked. I have had problems in the past getting prints to reflect screen views, so maybe this device did the trick.

After receiving "The Color Munki" and applying the application I entered a picture in a photo contest and scored 19pts out of 20. The judges were very impressed by the colors. No additional color corrections were recommended. I am very pleased with how my monitor shows true colors. Thank you so much.

If you're attempting to produce high quality prints/giclée's of your work, you'll need to format your own computer's colors to industry standard. It just makes life a lot easier, as what you see on your screen will be about 98% closer to how your prints will actually turn out. This device is used by professional printers and so far my printing experience has become a much happier, and successful, one.

I had been undecided about getting this ColorMunki Smile and then I decided that I was sick of not being sure if my colors were correct on my monitors. After calibrating my monitor I can see the difference clearly. The ColorMunki Smile allowed me to calibrate my PC, laptop, and tablet monitors. I am happy I purchased this device. It was 100% worth it.

The Colormonki Smile did a quick and easy job of calibrating my monitor. Nothing fancy, nothing intricate and nothing complicated. My on screen photos now more perfectly duplicated the colors of my printer's output. A very nice product. Delivery from Adorama was quick.

I encountered a color shift with my monitor when I upgraded to Windows 10. Photoshop flagged this condition on startup, that something was not right with my monitor profile. Yes, the ColorMunki fixed that problem and re-calibratied the colors for my monitor. But I wish the software offered the user several more options. Basically, their software creates and installs a new profile every time you run it. That's it. If you preferred your previous profile, it's gone, unless you had saved the icm file directly from Windows. I wish their software retained a list of previously created profiles that could be reused, if necessary.

While the sensor works, the software has problems with Windows. It doesn't maintain your settings, requiring re-calibration or manually going in to the color settings of windows to fix. There are instructions on the web from someone's personal website, but not from the manufacturer. I'd chose another product that actually works out of the box.

The only thing I noticed that was strange was the two different monitors from the same computer still don't match, one is a bit redder than the other.

I've been using a Pantone Huey for years, and thought it might be time to upgrade. The price looked good, and ColorMunki has a good reputation. The GOOD is that it works, and seems to work well. The (kinda) BAD is that the controls from the software are fairly limited, and it doesn't monitor ambient light and make adjustments on the fly like the Huey did.

I'm very pleased with ColorMunki's simplicity and ease of use. Although it will not work with Norton360 Antivirus, I switched to McAfee, and everything worked perfectly. Tech support at X-Rite was detailed and most helpful.

Only used it once. It did a decent job of calibrating monitor. After a couple tries at printing it was very close. Only used it once to calibrate but using an older eye-one display2 x-rite it was a major improvement. Cost cutter in printing supplies and the price was right.

I wanted to be fair on this review so I will state that this product is worth every bit of 5 stars. It's pretty much fool proof and the results are great. That being said, If I were to but again I'd likely move up to the "Display". I should have known that I'd end up wanting a little more control over the process and will likely eventually move to another X-rite product that allows me to do so. When push comes to shove, this product works exactly as advertised and is extremely simple to use. As with other X-rite products I have, I'm very impressed.

Recently purchased a new computer and paired it with an older monitor that hadn't been calibrated. Purchased the ColorMunki Smile based on positive reviews here and in Shutterbug. Found the system extremely easy to use, with good visual results (haven't yet printed new work yet).

I'm an amateur photographer who's just looking for a simple and hassle-free display calibration device. The ColorMunki fits the bill as it is extremely simple to use (just follow the instructions on the screen), has absolutely zero learning-curve (no complicated options or choices to make), and the results appear pleasing enough to my eyes (way better than all my attempts to calibrate displays by eye - never gotten a consistent result). I can see how the lack of options may be an issue for some users who want more control over the calibration process. However, this didn't bother me as I felt that the device did a good enough job.

The product does a thourugh job of correcting the colors on your monitor so that when you print a picture it looks like the one you reviewed. It is easy to install and use. The price is within the budget for hoby photographers.

Very easy to use, just insert disc and follow the on-screen directions. The ColorMunki changed the brightness of my monitor slightly (like many, I think my monitor was a touch too bright)and changed the color balance to be a little cooler. I noticed a definite improvement.

I bought this to calibrate my screen so when I use adorampix's profiles to check photos before ordering prints I'll have a better chance of seeing what I'll get. It is fast and easy to use. As for quality I have no frame of reference as this is my first experience with calibrating monitors, but it does make photos look a bit warmer. The faq on the manufacturers website says this is normal. My only complaint is I wish it came with some kind of storage case, to help keep it in good shape. But at this entry level price point you can't expect everything. The main reason I am writing this review is because I had a problem with the profile loader xrgamma.exe not installing properly and I wanted to relay my experience with x-rite's very helpful customer service. The monitor would calibrate fine but the changes would go away every time the pc went to sleep or restarted. There was a faq about this that I followed the instuction of but that didn't fix it (it should have but my windows install is messed up). I called the 1-800 number and was on hold less than a minute. The rep. Mary was very helpful and knowledgable. I could tell she was not just reading pre-written procedures but actually knew what she was talking about. And she was very nice too. She walked me through the most common problems first but when that didn't work she didn't give up and blame windows, even though that was the problem and it had nothing to do with the x-rite software itself. I won't bore you with all the specifics but she very patiently had me go through a bunch of windows security and firewall settings. When all else failed she came up with a way to trick windows into allowing me to get the executable into the proper folder (which I should have been able to do if not for windows thinking erroneously that it was a dangerous file). This worked and everything is fine now. I want to re-iterate that the problem was with my computer not the software. X-rite could have said "sorry, call microsoft", like alot of companies would do. But Mary didn't. This 20 minute phone call and the three or so emails she sent while we were on the phone has made me an instant loyal customer of x-rite.
