You'd think that anything "billet aluminum" would be good, but no. I ordered a pair of these clamps. They don't match due to a machining error on one unit. The tilt part of the mechanism doesn't operate smoothly. The stiffness of the aluminum means that you have to really crank down the knob and thru-bolt. The thing goes from "floppy" to "rigid" with nothing in-between. Very disappointing.

Don't buy this product. Very loose fitting where the two piece join together, and being metal the nut/bolt will not tighten down on the outside legs to hold the position. My fault, read the first two reviews but thought I would try it anyway, and now you know they were correct. This should be removed from inventory.

Do not purchase this. You will also find it unusable. Spend your money elsewhere.
