Essential gear.

This is truly a no-brainer if you've got the Explor200 or similar sized lighting units. Light goes in the back and clamps down, Bowens modifier goes in the front. Bang bang.

Not for umbrella users!

I love this mount when using it on a Bowens modifier. It holds the flash solidly and is very sturdy. However, if you are going to use an umbrella don't buy this. The screw is not solid enough to tighten up. The threads are very fine and when you begin to tighten them they strip out of the plastic that surrounds the screw. I am going to have to get a coarse bolt and thread it in the hole to make it useful at all. So 5 stars for a Bowens mount user and 2 for an umbrella user. Averages to 3 stars.

Required, but also a bit nice

This little bracket makes it super easy! Not just adapting a Bowens mount to a speedlight or Flashpoint/godox strobe, but also to mount the whole caboodle and easily switch modifiers back and forth. I'm grateful for the price point, since it's a necessity interpreter.

the newer model is better

This Works well. I received this in a package deal with the ad200 pro. For it's purpose I probably deserves 5 stars. However it is an older model. The newer version is adaptable to the 300, the roundhead v1 and the ad400 pro. So if you are purchasing as a stand alone product it's probably worth paying a little more for versatility of the newer model.

S-Bracket Superior to Newer S-2

I use this S-bracket to mount both my Godox v860 speed lights and Flashpoint AD200s on nightstands with a variety of umbrellas and Bowens mount soft boxes. It works extremely well with both as does the S-2 bracket which I also own, BUT the umbrella mount on the S-bracket with its actual tension screw is FAR superior to the fragile metal tension spring on the S-2. So I STRONGLY recommend purchasing this over the S-2 (and it costs less too!)

Hole for screw strips out easy but the main funtion of holding your light works well.

It holds up to an AD200 just fine but if you plan on using an umbrella with these you should find a different S bracket. The hole for the screw that secures the umbrella strips out SUPER easy. I have knock off S brackets that I've had for years that are fine. It's main function still works great though.

Solid product

Product is stronger than the plastic one I am replacing it with, the loud clicking. While repositioning it is not there. Works very smoothly. This one is used on an overhead boom for tabletop work.

Holds Godox flashes

What can I say, it does it?s job pretty well. The locking washer is a bit stiff so you can sand that down to make it turn easier. But other than that, it does what it?s supposed to do without issue.

Awesome We'll Made Mounts!

Awesome well made mounts! I use this for my new Flashpoint AW 200s and they for like a glove! Rest assure that they won't fall of the mount. I really recommend you buy these. For the price they are super solid!

Works for me!

I?ll give it four stars because I bought this to help learn about lighting. I have no basis for comparison but I had no problem setting it up and using it with the umbrella and speed light I bought. Worked just as expected. Plan to buy a smaller soft box sometime in the future.

The Glow Shoe Mount S-Type Flash Bracket is the mobile solution for adapting any type of speedlight or barebulb on camera strobe to create flattering, soft and rich softbox quality. The bracket serve many purposes, accepting the full line ofElinchrom type light modifiers to enhance your flash's dexterity. By adding the Glow 4 Speedlite Adapter Mount to the S-Type Flash Bracket you can mount up to 4 speedlites simultaneously to achieve exceptionally high light output on the center axis, securely and precisely. Transform your speedlight and barebulb strobes into a snooted hair light, a texture enhancing beauty dish or even a gridded spot - wherever you want to give your speedlight a new light life!

Your portable flash attaches to the assembly and accommodates almost all brands of flashes. The special 4 channel shoe clamping bracket serves a variety of sizes of speedlights, firmly mates the flash firmly and predictably to the bracket. The S-type bracket attaches to any lightstand and can adjust to any vertical tilt.

This is an ideal source for individual portraits while doubling as a superstar on location. The Glow Speedlight Adapter with Pop-Up Softbox combines the strength of a portrait key light with the advantage of blending perfectly with additional fill soft lights. The most popular uses of this softbox shape are for fashion, portrait, and beauty photography, plus, it's a natural for children.

GLOW materials and construction are superior. Glow engineers use UV-A and UV-R diffuser materials and are exceptionally heat resistant. The internal silver reflector fabric rivals all other flexible materials, imitating polished lame. The critical ingredients in any softbox are the internal reflective fabric, the front diffuser/baffle and the shape of the box.
