On heavier modifiers such as big softboxes it falls off quite often. I would NOT recommend for heavier modifiers but do for small light weight onesDAVID K : Yes. Not for collapsible beauty dish! Don't make the same mistake I did!

Not the right adapter if you're looking for one for your collapsible beauty dish. Don't be like me and make the same mistake, take a few extra seconds to read where it says this IS NOT for the EZ-Lock 34" collapsible beauty dish. That way you don't show up to a job with some gear that isn't going to function for you. It did seem like it was well made though, and I'm sure it would work for what it was intended for, so I gave it some stars...
