This works great on low profile BOWENS mounts. I noticed in the standard BOWENS mounts the knobs that lock into place are to big and will not lock. I ordered 2 of these items and the issue was the same. Both worked great on the low profile BOWENS mounts however.

I could not use it as it arrived. It just slipped off. The pin wasn?t strong enough to hold the bowens mount on my 25 in soft box. I removed the adapter part and screwed directly onto my soft box and that worked fine. It?s still cheaper than the actual bowens to Profoto mount.

Fits on Profoto pro heads but the bowens mount portion doesnt allow for full zoom. Compatibility is for Profoto Monolights, but works fine with Pro heads with restriction.

Fits my Bowen’s mount Soft boxes, but I’m having an issue with the reflectors fitting this piece. Not sure if it’s a user error, but overall pretty dope gear to have in my Arsenal as I have 2 Profoto D1 Heads for in studio work.

The design doesn't allow it to actually take any Bowens attachments... there's no room for them to rotate into position and lock.

I ordered another Glow Profoto to Bowens Mount Converter and the one I received was missing the clamp ring to mount tot he Profoto head. I reported this to Adorama, and they immediately sent me a replacement adapter without question. Thank You Adorama!!!

It does the job for what I needed, especially since the profoto adapter was backordered for awhile. The only downside is that it’s a lot heavier and bulkier. Overall I’m happy with it.

I will admit this fits well on my bowens mount beauty dish BUT my problem came when I was in the middle of the shoot and attempted to secure the modifier to the profoto light and my securing clamp wire broke...Given, I could use it still but it will likely just slide right back off because its not properly secured. I cant use it with clients because of the lack of safety with it...Hopefully adorama will replace--I will provide updates.

Just upgraded my lights to the Profoto B1X's and wanted to be able to use Bowens modifiers on them, so I opted to purchase these adapter speed rings. The build quality is fantastic (and they even look cool, too!

The individual one that I got was defective and would not fit two different Bowens mount modifiers. Will try again in a half year to see if quality has been improved. I would like to have several WORKING adapters like this.

I purchased this item because I have a good amount of Bowens Modifiers from other Manufacturers. However, so far ONLY the Glow Parapop {38in} works with this adapter, I cannot get the others to "Click." I will try with my Westcott Modifiers soon, although I have Profoto ones for that. Ill update this if there is anything positive to report. UPDATE: I tried it on my WestCott Octa's. I simpl;y CANNOT get them to work. Fortunetly I have ONE ParaPop (which I love) so I will keep it. But Unless I invest in more ParaPops I cannot justify purchasing this Item. Maybe you will have better luck, if so,,, Write a review about it. I click 3 starts, Its 5 Stars if you use the Parapop, NO Stars other than that. Hope this helps.

Excellent piece of equipment to have if you need to adapt profoto to Bowen. Best deal you can find for the cost!
