Works well to me
I purchased this softbox along with a grid, an adapter ring, a strobe and a stand as the rim light for studio headshot. It works pretty well for 1/3 or 1/2 shots. You may need a 72" large one if you do full body. Assembly takes only couple of minutes. Unlike the large one, this 36" one doesn't pull too much of weight and the whole set stands well without using any sandbag. The build quality is standard and nice. Ultimate mobile parabolic softbox solution
The Glow HexaPop 24 II is the mobile parabolic softbox solution for speedlights, studio, and large portable strobes, featuring flattering, soft, and rich color lighting. The lightweight HexaPop 24 II opens in a snap for action, with jointed positioning rods that lock with a simple click into the dedicated speedring. The release to collapse the softbox is even easier with twin safety tabs, sounding a signature 'pop.' The combination of the perfect diffusers together with the unique deployment and closing 'pop' system makes for a dynamic solution to portable softbox lighting.
The included OTA-S Adapter screws into the handle of the HexaPop OTA kit. Once joined with the OTA handle, the photographer mounts the speedlight into a HexaPop OTA Adapter without the cumbersome system of the past HexaPop version. The handle serves as a base that quickly connects to a lightstand, eliminating the need for more elaborate and less safe devices for support. A built-in pistol grip trigger provides the tilt control for the entire assembly, an umbrella port, and a clever twist-to-lock stand mount. The magnetic rimmed facing accepts OTA color filters and grids set and the popular Roundhead accessories for the Zoom Li-on X [FPLFEVRHAK].

The unique six-sided shape and narrow profile 18 inch diameter by 8 inch depth, provides a big 105-degree light spread in a light, space-saving package. The shadows are slight and beautifully graduated. Colors are rich and vibrant without the flat pancake look of direct flash.
The product of this marriage of softbox and umbrella: A parabolic umbrella that does not cast divergent or convergent light creating more natural sun-like shadows and fill light. The parabolic reflector shape directs all the light in one controllable direction. By adding the diffuser design more beautiful light caresses the subject.

The exciting Glow OTA Adapter Series
The included Glow OTA-A Speedlight Mount for OTA Adapter brings simplified connectivity and accessory modifiers for use with the original HexaPop and updated HexaPop II. The Adapter replaces the standard Bowens MOUNT plate that is screwed onto the rear face of the HexaPop Assembly hub. Once the new Glow OTA-A Speedlight Mount for OTA-A Adapter is in place, all OTA Adapters bayonet securely mate directly onto the adapter. Use the magnetic rimmed color filters and grids set and the already established Roundhead accessories for the Zoom Li-on X. The OTA Adapters bring Speedlights, Flashpoint non-Bowens monolights, Profoto and Forza heads and strobes, freely and with the same convenience, the Glow Bowens mount is famous for.

Glow HexaPop OTA-S Adapter for Speedlights
The OTA-S Adapter is designed for accepting standard shoe-mount flashes with rectangular heads. The Glow OTA-S Adapter for the HexaPop fits almost any common shoe-mount flashes with rectangular heads manufactured strobe, including the Flashpoint eVOLV200 series.
Once assembled, the HexaPop is ready for placement on all standard lightstands with a 5/8" stud and locks with a quarter-turn of the twist-lock mechanism. All magnetic modifiers in the Glow Color Correction Filter Kit with Diffuser and 40 Degree Grid and the Flashpoint Round Head Flash Accessory Kit snap securely into place.
The OTA-C Adapter mates with round head speedlights and XPLOR100 Pros. OTA Series Adapters for Profoto A1 and A10, Flashpoint XPLOR300 and 400 Pro Direct Mount, plus Godox ML360s. The system is highly user-friendly, with rubber pads lining the surfaces, a firm clamping grip on the flash head to ensure freedom of movement while shooting without damaging gear.

The exciting new Glow OTF Filter & Color Filter Kit accessories magnetically modify round head monolights such as the Flashpoint XPLOR100 Pro and the on-camera speedlight Zoom Lion X series. The innovative set instantly transforms your strobes into a HexaPop II friendly shaper of light.
The stackable kit includes 7 color filters: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Sandy Brown. Plus a Gel Frame, Diffuser, and a 40 Degree Honeycomb Grid. All are magnetized and can be combined easily on the face of the OTA-C Adapter.
The Flashpoint Round Head Flash Accessory Kit [FPLFEVRHAK] includes color correction hard gels as well as roundhead modifiers.
