I bought this along with an assistant style boom pole thinking I'd mount the AD100 or V1 on it with a softbox and while it's AWESOME on a light stand with the AD100, any kind of boom and angle and this thing will rotate on the pole regardless of how tight you tighten it. All my hex shaped babypins are too big to fit to even try to see if that would do the trick. If you're using it solely on a light stand flat on the ground, it's a fantastic option. Any kind of angling and the thing will rotate from the weight at the mounting point.
