But our Glow softbox umbrella is different - it offers the beauty of a softbox while accommodating any type of speedlight or monolight though an umbrella attachment to a light stand. You won't need expensive strobes and perfectly matching speedrings to use this softbox.

The Glow Softbox UMBRELLA 24x36" Silver Edition is an instant-setup champ:
· Open the black rubberized fabric with a slick silver interior onto the collapsible, 4-spoke umbrella frame and square it off.
· Place the light stand through the zippered slit in one of the sides.
· Affix an umbrella adapter with secure cold shoe to the stand.
· Add one of your favorite speedlights or monolights! (May we recommend the Flashpoint Streaklight?)
· Place diffusion material neatly and securely on the front window, recessed just enough for control.

The softbox umbrella takes just seconds to set up, giving you the blend of umbrella convenience and softbox diffusion in a super portable package. There's none of the harshness of direct light and it's even softer than a flash facing a diffuser. There are no shoot-through hotspots.
