After trying at least 5 other brands, Glyph Technologies hard drives have proven the most reliable, and well built. And their 1-2-3 warranty is probably the best in the business. This is the third drive I have had from them. The second is still working after around 6 or 7 years. I bought this one ? an updated version of the second one ? for more space and flexibility in my workflow.

I'd also like to send a shout out to their tech support team. This unit ships with the RAID0 setting, and I wanted to switch it to RAID1. I called the support number to speak to someone to talk me through it, which he did in a calm and clear fashion. He also gave me his direct number and email and said not to hesitate to contact him (day, night or weekend!) and he would get back to me. It was really nice, and unexpected.
