It does what it should, but, I am adding a center tube permanently.   This is to allow mounting on my first softboxes that are the older ?universal? mount with 4 screws.

My new Orlit heads are Bowen?s and I am replacing my Square Perfect strobes.  Buying 2 more!

And yeah, still get to use the old softboxes.  So of course I want to win something for a review!

Bought to Modify!

Bought for my Hexapop softbox. It does fit it well, it is plastic but serves what I am using it for well.
It does not come with screws. I already had screws from my previous attachment that was on it, but still wished it came with some.

Fits the Glow Hexapop well. No screws though.

It will be quite useful for me.  I also do woodworking and plan to create a small light box which I will then attach to this Mount with wood screws.  I will then be able to attach it to the Bowens Mount on the Glow S-Type Speedlite Bracket With Bowens S-Mount and use any number of strobes with it.  Very useful and inexpensive adapter ring.

Device is perfect.  Over time it too a beating and cracked and still worked flawlessly for months until I replaced it.

This will certainly serve the purpose and would have given it 5 stars if either it was aluminum or the price was lower.  It’s a little costly for a small piece of plastic.

Good Quality.

The ring fits nice on the Glow parapop octabox with my explore 600.  I think it would be better if it were made out of metal less likely that it would crack or break.  Over all I would recommend it.

This adapter works on the 28 in Parapop but also the Speedbox 70 cm. I use them on both. The screws are pretty tiny so you'll need a TINY phillips screw driver to get at the 3 screws.

Lots of other Bowens modifiers are out there so it's a good system. It makes swapping modifiers really easy.

Going Bowens is nice

I gave it 4 stars as its plastic, I wonder how long it will stand up to rigorous use. It's cheap enough to replace though and I have two of them, one as a backup. You need to remove 3 small screws to install it, no big deal but I can see concern if you don't have a small enough screwdriver. Overall I'm happy.

Time will be the test

Works as needed but costs a lot for cheap plastic. Aluminum would be nice.

It's plastic. Not the best quality. Westmount uses metal speed rings for similar light modifiers.

I am having the same issue as some other reviewers; with my Godox Strobe and Bowens mount/speed ring. Once I attached the 28x38" Quadrapop to my (bowens mount) strobe I will not hang straight, it's either canted to the left or right. I tried rotating the speed ring but then I can only secure it with 1 screw as opposed to the 3 it should be secured with. I'd like to know if anyone has suggestions or alternatives to fix this issue.

It is plastic which makes it much lighter, but durability could be a factor.  So far it seems fine.

Acceptable for starting

After viewing this product it appeared that might fit my SMDV 70. To my delight it was an exact match, allowing me to use  my favorite modifier on my newly purchased Rovelight 600b.
