Great for full length portraits and large groups. Good solution for when ceiling and/or walls are far way or are colored to provide soft bounce light - put this up in a corner angled down for an excellent room light. Instead of a thin belt around to keep closed it includes a well made bag to with a velcro flap. This should help protect from other gear (IE stands) damaging while in transit. You Gotta Get One!
While I don't have my own studio, I find often need one for my glamor/fashion shoots. Some studios offer lighting, others do not or you pay extra. I'm a K.I.S.S kinda photog: the simpler the better.
