Add flexibility to your umbrellas

I picked these up because they were pretty cheap on the Black Friday sale. I had a few calumet umbrellas from some lighting kits that I thought they’d be useful for. I didn’t check the specific size of my umbrellas. I knew they were 40something inches. Well it turns out my umbrellas were 45” and this is for 41”! Guess what? They work anyway. They just fit. Build quality seems good. Cant beat them at $5-6 each. I typically use larger shoot through umbrellas as rim/accent lights for family group shots where I don’t have time to rearrange things between different sized groups. Having a silver back cover gives me more power, and more control over bounce in the space. In the past I’ve had all in one umbrellas like this but they’re starting to show their age.
