Our group have roughly a dozen Goal Zero devices that uses the replaceable batteries. It proved useful when drained ... espcially when device was accidentally left turned on or turned on. It was the greatest product in the past ... with the replaceable batteries option. However, all of the newer products lack the replaceablity.

Needed to purchase a replacement battery for my Mini-lantern. I had other 18650 batteries, but quickly discovered GZ chose to use a proprietary battery for no apparent reason. I think the challenge of putting battery into a device the correct way has been conquered. I hope they keep making this battery so I'm not left with a useless device. The battery works well and lasted at least 2 yrs with year-round use.

These batteries can’t be used with any other chargers except goal zero devices. This proprietary feature limits the usefulness. In the goal zero devices they work alright.

A hard to fine proprietary battery of the 18650 family. Received a full charge while in the lantern and discharge is relative/ proportional to their discharge setting. Both sides on, one side on with variable lumen emissions. On full power both sides I got a 4-5 he run. On one side only on dim setting I just went over 510 hours.My only disappointment was the unique 18650 cell. It can't be inserted wrong.

Purchased as a back-up for the Goal Zero Mini lantern. The lantern has fantastic life on low 500+ hours) but only 3 on high so bought this for just in case. Arrived on-time and undamaged. Not given 5 stars because I can't assess long term life/performance yet.

This does not fit the goal zero flashlight that I have. It is the same size, but has a different top and bottom. The information is very poor on which goal zero products it fits and which it does not. Be aware.

I'll be honest, Goal Zero, in the early days was NOT a product I wanted to purchase. However, their Torch 250, Lighthouse 250, Lighthouse Mini and Solo flashlight are incredable! The 18650 batteries I bought were for the Lighthouse Mini. I just wanted extra batteries for the ROCK solid product.

I bought this as a backup for a hunting trip. The light was fantastic the group used it and it was nice to have a quick back-up of power. Love the light will probably order another one, (so I won't have to share). Thank you for great products Goal Zero is becoming a household name. JT

I love the concept of replacing a battery gone bad and my product will still work. I hate products that can't replace a battery and when they go bad my gear is trash. Thank you GZ for doing this for Switch 10 and Lighthouse Mini...Please do it more on other products!!!
