Great Product

This charges my 200X perfectly. I just moved it to the sun when camping and it worked without issues.

Goal zero Boulder 100

This Boulder 100 replaces one the deer broke the cable on. It is in a chain of 3 supplying power to the Goal zero Yeti 1250 watt generator. All are great products.

100 Watts? Hmmmm ??

I'm in Texas. The Texas sun is about as hot as it gets. The best I'm seeing is 55 watts at High Noon. 100 Watts? I don't think so. And no, I'm not using the extender cable. Just the cable that came with the panel directly into my Yeti 3000x.

Boulder 100?s Chained/Installed on Remote Cabin

I purchased two of these then chained and installed on roof of our remote cabin. Using GZ mounting brackets I attached directly to our metal roof and used 30? Anderson cable to run down and into cabin to Yeti 1000. Even though roof/panel pitch is only 20 degrees, it takes little time to top off battery and be ready for our use.

Great Solar Panel -- High Output, Easy to Handle

This is a great solar panel. We have now purchased three of them, and they power a set of Goal Zero batteries at a cabin that is off the grid on an island in the middle of a lake. They put out a lot of power, stand up to the weather well, and are small and light enough for one person to handle them with ease. The "kickstand" is a nice feature that we use on one of the panels, and just push the legs into the ground. We used to have some smaller Boulder panels mounted on a wooden frame, but the ensemble was heavy and hard for even two people to manage. The individual Boulder 100's put out a lot more power and aren't difficult to manipulate. Overall, we are delighted with power output and convenience of the Boulder 100 panel.

Great Solar Panels

We bought two for our 1500x. Sets up easy, panels are very efficient, and system works very well overall.

150 watt with 1000 watt battery

Pretty good. I have 150 watts total, but only get around 90 watts on a perfect day. I thought the 100 watts will perform better than 50 watts on a perfect day, but it doesn't. Hoping that if I change to the better gauge wire, it may perform better.

These work great

We recently purchased 2 Boulder 100 solar panels as part of our "preparedness" efforts, but used them this past week as we camped for 5 days. They easily charged our Yeti 400, our Sherpa 100 Power Pack, Lighthouse 400 lantern, our son's Sherpa, plus several smart phones. We are thrilled with all of them.

Reliable, powerful, easy to use

Used to charge Yeti 400. Wore down battery to empty first night while camping in Angeles National Forest. The panel charged from 0% to 80% in 5 hours. As expected took some time to get that last 20%, but it charged to full before dinner. The best solution I've found for portable power at a campsite.

Solid Panel - Connection is Proprietary

The Boulder 100 isn't too big, it is durable and well made. The kickstand is only really for one setting if you have an uneven or odd angle you need to set it for. The power out connection is obviously the 8mm GZ standard. If you are so inclined you can re-wire it, the cable box on the back can be opened with a medium flat blade screwdriver. MC4 would be a better connection type, as there are MC4 to 8 mm male adapters available. The cabling is not an ideal gauge for transmitting power over any distance either, so beware you will have power loss if you use an extension cable. On a sunny day it creates power very well - I was able to see 80w plus in very non-scientific random checks. Under heavy cloud cover it isn't really effective but I still saw 1 to 3w of generation.

Love The Product - With One Exception

Had the Goal Zero Yeti 400 for a week now and field tested with two overnight tent camping outings. I specifically wanted to use with my CPAP machine as I wake up exhausted when camping in my tent due to no way to power the CPAP. I really needed to find a way to be able to use CPAP while camping and the GZ Yeti 400 worked flawlessly in this regard. I used the device without utilizing the humidifier as it uses considerably less power that way. Each night that I slept for about 7 hours and would use a little more than 20% of the battery power. Charged multiple small devices such as phone, portable speaker, etc. as well. Bought the Boulder 100 solar panel and it is super easy to hook up to the battery for re-charging. Worked well even in overcast conditions. The one letdown that I encountered was when I tried to use the Yeti to power a little 12V handheld inflater used to inflate a sleeping pad. It simply wouldn't work despite attempting to remedy with all troubleshooting methods. I have an old, cheap portable jumper from Walmart with a 12V outlet that I hooked up to and it fired the inflater right up...disappointing that I couldn't use the Yeti for all of my power needs. All in all, these are excellent products which I would recommend. The battery is of robust construction, quiet (as in makes no noise whatsoever, aesthetically pleasing, and everything is easy-to-use and connect. Will probably be purchasing some of the GZ LED lights and would be open to upgrading to larger capacity products in the future.
