Although it is very well made and appears to be rugged, it is simply too short. Unless you want to put a second battery immediately behind your Yeti, this cable will simply not reach any other position of a second battery. I had a custom one made at a local battery shop, any length I want up to 4 feet for $50. Works great.

I thought this would be a good way to expand my system and it will be. The only problem I have with it is how short the wires are. For $30 it could be a foot longer to make reaching up to a shelf or whatever easier.

Nicely made cable. Wires need to be heavier gauge to handle rated current and need to be about 12 inches longer to accommodate larger external batteries. Engineering on this was not well thought out.

The cord is very well constructed. I liked the copper connectors at the battery side of the cord. Connecting the cord to the Yeti 1250 was very easy. the Yeti terminal end just snaps in with a slight push. Heavy duty wire, 2 gauge I think, with a very thick insulating covering. Extremely well made. Only thing I did not like is the length of the wire. It would be better if about 6 to 8 inches longer. At least for my application.

Anderson SB175 - I own two of these. I made two myself before these were available. I do wish the cable was a bigger gauge but as per usual I am pushing the specs. Making them your self was interesting requiring blowtorch, solder and vise. Cable length is ok depending on how far your battery bank is away. I always turn my yetis off when clunking these monsters in. I know its only 12 v but you can arc weld with a car battery.
