We bought this light to serve two purposes: provide bright bi-color "white" light with a good CRI; and give us access to RGB color capability for background lighting... at an affordable price.
The LD150RS delivered on both counts, plus the build quality was surprisingly good for a light in this price range.
The white light is bright and flicker free, as Godox claims. The dimming down to 0% is useful too as other LED lights turn off at ~10% or higher. It's been a reliable and versatile light for our kit, both in studio and on location.
On the downside, Godox should have put two V-Mount receivers, wired in series, instead of a single 26V V-mount. Come on, who owns 26V V-mount batteries? Everyone has 14V V-mounts. 
The built-in effects are OK, but not outstanding. But again, for the price, they're usable for narrative work.
Overall, this was a solid purchase and will get a lot of use going forward.

Impressive build quality and performance

Exactly what I was looking for, and after using the LD 150R on a couple of video shoots, exactly what I expected as well. Godox has an outstanding product in the LD 150R, and it pairs well with my  four VL150?s to make a very versatile location lighting kit. All of which can be run on V-Mounts should the need arise.

Absolutely fantastic, versatile, east to use panel. Gives out wonderful Bi-amped light and awesome RGB colors.
