Godox ML-150 Ring Flash for Macro work
Great unit to do the close up work with the Olympus 30mm 3.5 macro lens. Using it to do some research photography of small objects needed to be documented in archeological work

Godox ML-150 Macro Ring Flash - first impression
The flash was neatly packaged and although plastic, it appeared to be well designed and built. It looked as good or better than the images on the web site. I was impressed, and felt I received good value at a comfortable price. Other than checking to see if the flash functioned, I have not really given it a good test run yet. I usually shoot in manual mode, so this flash will be a good addition for close up lighting. Assuming that the flash will function as intended, I would recommend it.

Inexpensive ring flash
It is what it claims to be, a ring flash. Totally manual, which means that you need to have your camera in manual mode as well. The camera (at least mine) does not recognize that the flash is present so it tries to adjust the exposure as if the flash was not present.

Test flash does not work
I have ordered this ring flash twice: The first time the test flash did not work. I returned it. I ordered it a second time. The test flash did not work again even though the flash was fully charged with brand new batteries! What kind of junk is this?

Great value for getting better macro shots
This light has made all the difference in my shots of flowers and bees. I think it's a fantastic value! Before, I was struggling to keep ISO down with shutter speed fast enough to freeze motion. This light solves that problem! I find it works best when my subject is within 12 inches. Flash power is controlled manually, so it's very easy to use.

So very disappointed
I just recieved this product and I was so excited but then I put it on my Canon 7D II only to find out I still need a male to male sync cord that not only doesn't come with it but it never even mentioned anywhere I would need one. Then I realized that it won't even fire a test shot. No light at all will come from it.The indicator lights will come on and it will change the light power but nothing else works.

Perfect for on the go!
I purchased the ring flash with intentions of using on location. It really has some power to it, and I love that it attaches right to my lens and I don’t need to carry around a giant light!!! I recommend!!

Amazing macro ring flash
I purchased this ring flash for macro snowflake photography. I have had one snowfall since and the snow was not good but the photos were great. Took a few other macro shots and the ring flash worked amazingly. I will recommend this ring flash to any of my friends looking for a macro flash ring.

A good value
I tried a ring flash that was four times more expensive and found the Godox worked as well or better. Very happy with the simplicity of operation, rapid recycling and light output. Well worth the price. Works with my Sony and Nikon camera
