I am amazed with this soft box, I can say that in my 13+ years of using all kinds of light modifiers, this has been one of the best if not the best, you can buy it with confidence, it is durable and goes great with the ad400.

Awesome

I preordered this 34" version. When I received it, it just meets all my requirements, well..,mostly. It's light weight and 22" long, perfect for a carry-on with a nano light stand. The beauty dish disc is sold separately. I have doubts about the disc mounting location shown in the product description photos. I used my own disc mounted below the locking mechanism so the distance between disc and light tube is similar to the typical beauty dish. Paired with AD400 pro at full power, I measured f22 at 6 ft ISO 100, with disc only. This is great! I know this will be a perfect outdoor beauty dish using HSS! Similarly with a AD300 pro, I got f16.5, pretty much usable outside too!
