The unique two-piece design of these plugs separates the metal shell shield from the RJ45 body, resulting in a more efficient termination process. This design allows larger diameter shielded LAN cables to be inserted further into the plug, improving Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) performance by reducing the length of untwisted wires inside the plug.The Simply45 S45-1150 RJ45 modular plugs come with the exclusive Bar45 load bars. These are designed to improve termination performance and simplify the termination process. The Bar45 load bars are made of materials that provide better signal isolation and substantially reduce the effects of crosstalk inside the RJ45 modular plug. These RJ45 modular plugs are equipped with a 3-prong pin design with 50 micro of True 24ct Gold Plating. This design provides three points of contact with the copper wire conductor, improving electrical performance and signal integrity. The S45-1150 RJ45 modular plugs are ideal for most Cat6 STP and Cat6a F/UTP solid 23 AWG LAN cables with a maximum cable diameter of 8.0mm and wire conductor sizes between 1.10mm - 1.20mm. They are also ideal for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Power over HDBaseT (PoH) applications, ensuring lower resistance and less heat build-up than cheaper made RJ45 that are out on the market.
