Great starting point for semi-professional gear

This was my first purchase of a semi-professional lighting kit. In the past I've ordered cheaper gear from Amazon that I quickly outgrew the capabilities of, but I can see this Godox kit being very useful for the next few years. I've done some product photography and portrait shoots with this kit so far and have been very pleased with their performance. These lights are extremely bright and easy to adjust to match the color temperature of my speedlight. The softboxes diffuse very well. The included stands are reasonably stable, but definitely benefitted from a couple of sandbags. The fan noise from the lights is negligible for any work that I do (primarily photography and video work where the on-set audio won't be used). My only complaint is that I can't get everything back in the original carry bag and have to carry the softboxes or stands separately.

Great light kit for high speed video!

Probably one of the best lower cost light kits available. Lots of light and comes with everything you need for good studio lighting. I use them for high speed video (1000-5000 fps), which needs tons of light when exposures are only in the single to tens of microseconds. I also don't get any flicker! This kit fits the bill!
