I own two of these and these are my work horse lights for all my interviews. Light and portable, and the power cable is long enough that I can plug in just about anywhere without and a needing a separate stinger.

I bought this light for video work, but shot a fine art portrait with it and loved the results, love that it can be used for both motion and stills. It?s not the most powerful light, but works for wide aperture portraits. I paired it with a 37? godox octabox and recommend that as well.

Really like the simplicity of this mono light. I was expecting it to be louder based on the reviewers but did not find the fan sounding obnoxious. I have it inside a GLOW 34 x 48 soft box and it works great! May sell my Spiderlite TD5 for another one of these!

They don't have battery power, which can create issues on outdoor or remote locations, but in a controlled environment they're just fine. I have two of the 5600K lights and, while they don't appear to actually be 5600K, they are matched, which is about what I can hope for.

I bought one of these a while back and loved it, so I purchased another. It has greatly improved the quality of my videos and photos at a great price. These lights are high quality, easy to use, and at an affordable price. The Bowens S-mount makes it easy to attach accessories (I use the Aputure Lantern on one of them). I was recommended to these lights by a Director of Photography who helped me look for some more affordable options, while he hadn't used them he heard great things about them. Now that I have tried them, I do recommend them as high quality and affordable lights.

This thing really pumps out the light, for the price. It does have a very stark magenta coloration, so would need to gel it if mixing with other lights, even other Godox lights.

The fan is far too noisy for use with video. I used a omni lav on my subject and these were at least 8 feet away. Still way too loud.

I bought two of these. I used one to shoot a low budget music video for a local band (with a couple other cheap lights). This stole the show and looked great. When they went on sale again, I picked up a second one, and just used both on another music video and they look great. 60w is not the brightest when you?re shooting at high shutters on DSLR video, they will work, but I?m happier to have 2. And I?m definitely interested in the new Godox SL100d for a little extra brightness. The brand is great, reliable, they come with a remote. They?re not too loud, though most of what I shoot audio isn?t a concern. They are just straight forward, low cost work horse lights. I?d say these will be my go to for at least a year or two more. Also, I was doing a photo shoot and forgot my trigger for my Godox studio strobes (which are almost the exact same size and shape as these), and I had one of these on hand, and in a pinch it gave me amazing photos for not being as bright as I wanted (studio strobes are 300w).

They go to ask SL 60 is the perfect LED video light to transition from Photography to Video. With the Bowens mount head, all of my modifiers work I?m just without any accessories. The remote control makes it super easy to turn on and off.
