4 years into the use, display whites out at 2 points at the top and bottom buttons. HR strap loses connection, into the 5th strap now, latest a tri strap, awaiting replacement. Highly unreliable watches and straps. I had a fenix 3 before with same issues regarding strap connection. The pulse measurements are highly unreliable as well showing irate HR levels for my age as 190 or so for a60 year old male. I may be trained but not so.

GPS connection is useless. It no longer tracks my runs. I have tried everything to rectify this issue.

The watch had a useful life of less than one year, it had failures in the barometer altimeter and a very important failure in intermittent communication with the telephone

Excellent watch

This is the 2nd harmony have bought and am not as impressed with the performance.

Constantly having to remove and install on iphone

It really has all the functions one can expect from a sports watch, a beautiful and robust design, a long lasting battery. It would be perfect if Garmin Pay accepted more credit cards in Brazil - unfortunately it only accepts BTG Pactual Mastercard in Brazil.

Most Integrated Warch Ever

Really angry and disappointed off at the quality of the charging dock/slot of the Garmin watch. This is my second pair, upgraded from the Fenix 5x

Charging slot

I have been a Garmin watch user since 2017. I had a 735XT for 4 years after which I upgraded to a Fenix 6. I bought the Fenix 6 watch in Dec 2021. It worked great for a year and 8 months and then it died on me. The heart rate was always at 72 bpm. The battery didn't last more than 2 days for standard use. It used to last 8-10 days without any issues.



I am really really disappointed by my Fenix 6 s performance. I called customer service to complain. They first thing they asked me to do is try and change the power source, clean the contact points, and do a soft reset. But that didn't work. I called back and they said the only thing they can do for out of warranty product is replace it with a certified watch and I need to pay

Watch failed in 1 year and 8 months

the band is silicone instead of polyurethane .. the battery life zucks .. even under a strong light source, the battery doesn't fully charge rapidly .. the app doesn't always sync with the watch .. can it be better, ABSOLUTELY YES!

He tingut un problema amb el meu Garmin 6x pro. Vaig trucar al servei Garmin Iberia i vaig seguir les seves instruccions amb 3 dies em van retornar un Garmin 6x pro nou. Eficiencia increible tant debò totes les marques fossin així

I upgraded from a std Instinct model, and LOVE this watch. Lots of neat features, they aren't really highlighted in the user manual. Good job, Garmin...!!

Great Watch

Tons of great features packed on my wrist, very practical watch!

Fantastic watch!

I am so disappointed in a device that you have to spend hours to set up and then it does nothing automatically, you have to start and stop everything and the user's manual is pretty USELESS, both the one in the box and the one online (marginally better). Returning it tomorrow.

Users manual is worthless

Although I've had this watch for some time I am constantly having issues with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. I'm ready to chuck it in the bin.

Bluetooth Connectivity

I looked at and read reviews for several years about Garmin fénix watches. I finally bought the fénix 6x pro. I enjoy not needing to charge every day, being able to go out for all day hikes, bike rides, kayaking, sailing etc and not worry about my battery going dead before I complete my activity. My Garmin pairs beautifully with my iPhone for messages, call alerts etc. it is very easy to use and enjoy the different applications. I especially like having consistent data from sleeping to weight lifting, bicycling to sailing. It is awesome having so much good information that is easy to access and use with Garmin Connect.

Fénix 6x pro solar replacing my Apple Watch!

This review is in response to an email invitation received from Garmin following the 'recent' registration of my watch. In reality I have registered this watch a year and a half ago and Garmin should know that. The problem is that in the last few months the watch disconnects from the app every other day and needs to be taken through the Bluetooth pairing and connection procedure. And this is quite annoying. Garmin is just adding insult to injury by sending me a congratulation message.

Fenix 6X Pro disconnects all the time

This watch was ok to start. But now the app regularly refuses to sync - I have to remove the watch and then add it again. Happening about once a month now.

Regular sync problems

I took a chance w the upgrade, since my fenix 3hr sapphire still works like a charm?I'm VERY pleased w the wearability of this watch and the step-up thanks to the solar charging for the battery life from the already-impressive week+ I'm STILL getting on my f3 model. I look forward to gifting my old watch to my nephew as he has excelled in XC and loves the trails. 

Thanks, Garmin for the incredible incentive rebate that got me to take the leap. I cannot wait to put this one through its paces! ?stay tuned!

So glad I upgraded!

Bought this 10 months ago, really good at the start, now it just freezes, and I have to keep on restarting it, battery life won't even last a day now. I've tried un-pairing it from my phone and re-pairing, reconnecting to Wi-Fi. Very disappointing.

I am happy but the screen resolution is poor. I expected better lighting.

Good watch

The Fenix 6X is a big rugged watch. It looks strong and robust, has enough battery life to last two weeks. Upgraded from vivoactive 4. The only downside is that it is all button controlled which is hard to get used to from the vivoactive 4. Still a great looking and amazing watch!

Amazing watch!

I have repeated issues with my Fenix 6X when I connect to Garmin Express and install the latest updates. After installing the updates, the Garmin app on my phone shows that my watch is connected, I even see data such as heart rate and steps, but my workouts will no longer synch and upload.

I have found the only way to get them to upload is to first delete my watch from the Garmin Connect on my phone and then add it again. A real pain having to do this after there's an update, twice this week alone.

I have sent an email to Garmin, but I am yet to receive a reply from them.

 Considering the financial outlay I would expect better from Garmin.

Issues with updates

I was a happy user of a Garmin fenix 3 and then fenix 5. I was a promoter of the brand. However, I cannot say the same about the fenix 6X pro. Unfortunately, I received a device full of problems, very unreliable, blocking all the time. And the support is unbelievably weak or unresponsive.



Unfortunately, after being a Garmin user for over 10 years. I will have to put this investment in the trash and give your competition a chance.

Unfortunately, the worst possible experience ever

Bought the Fenix 6 Pro and after charging, found that neither the heart rate sensor nor the SPO2 sensor are functioning. Tried everything as per the troubleshooting guide but no luck. The watch is therefore completely useless for tracking any activity. Very disappointed.

Heart Rate Sensor Not Working

Weather states it is -10 degrees feels like -15 when it's +8 outside and warm. Information syncs every so often and changes but is still incorrect. Garmin keeps having me do all these watch sync resets and turn everything off and on when it's clearly working but their sensors are not. For $1000 a watch you'd think they could fix the weather issue, makes you wonder if the gps will work properly if they can't get a simple weather value to display correctly
