This watch is 10 months old. It will not stay connected. For the price it should not be doing this at all. Massive frustration to have to remove watch from app and reinstall every time I want to sync and I cannot get help

Finally upgraded from a Garmin 235 that I had for over 7 years - the features are leaps and bounds better than old watch but the battery life is terrible. It's advertised for 9 days - I'm barely getting 5 days with all notifications off and zero activities - heck, I'm just leave it on the desk. Fully charged - I'm barely able to get a weekend of activities out of it. Was hoping this watch will allow me to travel without bringing my charging cable but I got 2 longish runs and 1 round of golf with it. I doubt this last a few years before I'm fed up with the battery life. Solar charging is a joke. I can leave it on my car dash and with 100% solar charge it's still losing battery life. I love Garmin, just not this model and only after getting this watch did I see other complaints about the battery life.

I've had my Fenix 6S for a while and I love this watch to track my rides, runs and everyday fitness. I was so excited to track my pregnancy and with this watch and see what fitness tips and insights it would provide. The tracking in pregnancy is subpar at the best of times. You get a count of number of weeks pregnant, an idea of sizing and some links to tips on how to manage whatever week gestation you're in. Not super helpful when you're looking to stay active and make healthy choices during your pregnancy. What is particularly disheartening is the update you get once you hit term. "Don't worry you won't be pregnant forever." I don't understand how this is helpful to anyone, especially when many woman go beyond the standard 40weeks. Do better Garmin.

I was sooo happy to upgrade my old garmin to the Fenix 6s pro solar . It was not recorded an accurate run or swim since I got it . My lady swim recorded no distance . I'm very frustrated

Maybe a little too many. This watch has 5 buttons and remembering which does what is frustrating. I have had to look at more than one section in the manual to simply turn a feature on or off. For someone that only needs to monitor one or two functions it's great but I need to monitor heart, lungs, sleep and steps. Nearest I can tell you need a separate monitor to get BP. Which means I will just keep my cheapo watch handy. Have only had it a few days but I am not sure I will ever be comfortable with it. Does what I need, not sending it back.

My boyfriend got me this FENIX 6S for Christmas & I'm absolutely in love with it. It's lightweight & it looks nice on my wrist. I'm still learning how to use it & I'm finding it does more than I actually thought. She's definitely a keeper!!!

Garmin should differentiate between male and female strap lengths. Having to shell out another ?50+ on a watch that already costs ?700 is a bit rich!

I bought this a couple of months ago and really happy with it, it looks good and suits my slim wrist, love all the data and stats. I would only recommend that Garmin allow you to edit the sleep stages - I often wake up during the night for longer than it says which means my sleep score is often in accurate and although you can edit the sleep and wake time you cannot edit the awake times which would be great if they could upgrade that in future software releases.

I've bought this a couple of days ago to help me navigate and I've got nothing on it like planning a route, a bit off help would be much appreciated and I possibly might write a better review

I love how long the battery lasts. Huge plus. That was my biggest issue with the vevo active for is that you had to charge it almost once a day. But not with the Fenix. I can go nearly a whole week. The only thing that it's missing is the plus features that are on the latest Venu watches. If I could return text messages verbally than this watch would literally be perfect. But let's hope for the next edition!

This is a great watch. Bought post pregnancy to get myself back into shape. It's a great motivator. The only reason I have given it 4* instead of 5* is the 6S has less stylish accessories. This watch never leaves my wrist to get more complete data, so it would be nice if I could make it look more stylish at work. The larger versions (more likely worn by men!) have so many more options. Why is the smaller version (more likely to be worn by women) given less choice? I would like a titanium wrist band too please!

I have always wanted a smart watch and Garmin helped me with my selection. I still haven't used all the features, but I'm slowly learning the ropes! Thanks Garmin!

I love the watch. This was an upgrade from my Instinct. This one has a much more polished look and the screen is easier to read. Has all the bells and whistles. The only complaint I have is the band is very short. I now have to spend another $50 to get a normal-length band. I see others have also commented about the length of the band, too, and am wondering why Garmin has not corrected this.

I bought this watch for use on backpacking trips. Key features that I was interested in include navigation, solar charging (since I'm in the sun all day while backpacking), inReach pairing, altimeter and barometer, altitude acclimation stats, compass, heart rate, and pulse oximeter. I was hopeful but hesitant with regard to the oximeter. As an asthmatic, it's important for me to keep an eye on this, particularly at higher altitudes. I'd heard that wrist pulse oximeters are not as accurate as finger pulse oximeters, but so far the fenix pulse ox has matched my finger pulse ox within 1-2 points. Close enough that I don't feel hesitant to leave the finger pulse ox at home. Occasionally, the fenix pulse ox will not give a number if I'm moving too much, or if my wrist is sweaty. But it's easy enough to stop for a moment, clean the sensors off, and try it again. I'm actually pretty impressed with its accuracy. All of the other features I mentioned work great, as I expected, so overall I'm extremely happy with this watch. Don't count on the solar charging to offer much unless you're going to be out in the sun all day, as I am when backpacking. The functions on this watch are easy to learn. And, as a woman, I really like the "Women of Adventure" text that's part of the main watch face. You can, of course, change it. So if you're not a woman, or don't care for it, you can simply change the watch face. The band is comfortable, and the color is more of a gray-shale than a purple. Or maybe a matte violet. I don't know, but it's not straight-up purple, which was nice. The watch size is perfect for small wrists, or people who just don't like huge watches. I wasn't into the sleep score and body battery / stress data until I got the watch, but now that I have it I do find myself looking at it and seeing the benefit of it. The data seems reasonably accurate. Overall, this watch has exceeded my expectations. I'd waited months for it to go on sale, and I'm pleased with my purchase.

My Garmin Fenix 6s solar pro can't pair with my IPhone. I updated the software on the watch and my iPhone, restarted both, did a hard reset of the watch. Nothing changed. This super expensive will go to the bin if Garmin support still can't help me.

I love Garmin to start off this is second watch. Fenix6pro solar. Have to give full charge before first start up. Loved the watch the color was a bit off. Left store drove two hours home and when I turned on the watch it is the women of adventure. I'm 5'10 225 pounds and would say adventurous but I'm no lady. Actually I'm a guy. No mark or label or sticker that would indicate was a special edition female watch. Love watch very disappointed in the package and lack of full info. So joe have watch I love that fits on the second to the last notch of small wristband.

I have no idea how or why I did not focus on Garmin watches prior to this past weekend. Thank you to a hometown running store display and a savvy businessman. Once I tried on options, clearly the answer was to upgrade to the Pro Solar model -- and so glad I did! I am learning something new with this watch every day -- and look forward to adding knowledge along the way. One feature to call out is the ability to switch watch bands -- pop in an out -- and be able to create color combination and add spice to the style!

Pros: Best feature so far...the 42mm is a great size for my small sized wrist...does not look like the BIG BEN on my arm! Solar boost is pretty good...but not a full charge capacity feature. Still need to plug in every 9 days so far. Cons: The Fenex 6 PRO Solar is very hard to get the features I desire to show on my watch faces...still can't get a date to show up with a analog watch face...grrr! Watch faces download software needs work...some will not work and other are so quirky...I just quit trying.

I went from a vivoactive 3 with touch screen to this, had I known you have to be pretty computer savvy to use this , i wouldnt have bought it, I thought with the high price , 700 plus compared to 200 plus , I was paying for a better, easier technology with more, I basicallt just needed the triathlon capability. 2 of my friends have the fenix and said it was a great watch, Now that i have it , I cant figure out why its a great watch or even figure out the watch, the pamplet it came with is zero help I hope it lasts and its battery lasts for this priceo.

I have no clue how to work half the functions this watch offers. I tracked a hike yesterday and now I can't seem to access any other activities; I'm still in hiking mode. I hate how much I'm having to Google and watch random YouTube videos to figure out this watch. Can someone just provide me with an instruction manual?

I carefully checked all the specs to make my choice, having had a Fenix 5s plus before, I wanted at least the same features but needed more battery life. Along came Fenix 6s solar, which I thought ticked all the boxes. When it arrived I was puzzled as to why I couldn't find the maps, then found out on a 3rd party website that this model DOESNT HAVE MAPS. The specs on Garmin's own website says it has "GARMIN CYCLE MAP (ROUTABLE CYCLING-SPECIFIC STREET MAP)" It doesn't have any maps, only the same breadcrumb trail you get on the £250 Forerunner 245. They seem to be very confused about Solar and Solar Pro, as they emailed me this link to 6s Solar Pro, when I bought the 6S Solar non pro. If they cant even tell which model they sold me, how am supposed to know the exact specs? I contacted them by email, and have just had a standard reply with no acknowledgement of my issue. The actual watch is brilliant apart from lack of maps. It doesn't have the functionality to add maps either. I appreciate that this is more a review of Garmin customer service, than the watch, but I want to warn others that the watch is not quite what Garmin say it is.
