My kids love this despite the super dark screen. But after two days one of them stopped working. I returned it and have a new one now.

I love this tracker but you can't change the band and what happens when the band breaks ??? And it doesn't light up which makes it impossible to see at night.

I got this as a gift and I love it! J am a huge mandalorian fan and love this watch! The only thing is it gave me a rash and you have to clean it pretty often.

My daughter initially liked it, but then started complaining about the screen being so dark she couldn't see anything. I researched and found out that is how it was supposed to be, so to avoid her frustrations, we returned it. The screen is just too small to be so dark. Its very hard to see anything. Otherwise it was simple to set up and connect to the app.

My 6 year old got this as a Christmas gift because he loves to watch me track my fitness on my gaming watch. It's such a big hit. He barely takes it off. He gets so excited to reach his goals each day. Great product. Easy to use and lots of fun.

My kids have had Garmin watches the last two years. They love that they can wear them in the shower, bath, or pool. I love that the batteries last and there is not a lot of charging like my Fitbit. Also love that they have the timer on the watches. So I can tell them 5 more minutes and they can track the time themselves. I would definitely keep purchasing Garmin for them.

Great features for kids up to age 13/14. I thought my oldest at age 11 would be too old, but I was wrong. It's a watch but also a chore tracker, step counter, and goal setter. My kids love it and are motivated to meet their goals with this watch.

My kids had had another brand fitness tracker watch and weren't fans. They hated having to take it off and charge it every night. I'm thankful it stays on them as they are prone to lose things. I also like that it tracks activity and sleep. I can set chores with alarms and can set rewards for completing them. I like the mix between old school (regular battery) and modern (fitness, chore, activity trackers).

Immediately returning. The screen indoors is far too dim. Having to precisely hold down the button to brighten the screen without accidentally activating pairing mode etc is an awful design.

My daughter had the original Vivofit Jr. Which lasted over 4 years (2 or 3 battery changes). The new one is very similar with a few upgrades. She loves the timer feature, setting her alarm, tracking her steps and the games on the app. Extremely easy to use and a great overall Garmin product.

My son (5 yr) really wanted a watch like mine and he absolutely loves it. I do wish the screen was a little brighter, it is kind of hard to see at times. I also wish there was a way to choose what activity he is doing, we bike a lot and i currently just update the activity on the app.

I bought this about a month ago. My daughter wanted a Garmin like myself. Love that I can set chores and reminders for her. As a single parent is has made my life easier. She and I like that it's a positive motivator. She likes the games and the rewards once she earns points. She won't take it off!

This is my son's 3rd vivofit. He had a vivofit jr 2 for 2 years and for this last xmas we purchased him a vivofit jnr 3. He loved and wore it for 1 month until the watch somehow fell out of the band and was lost during normaly daily wear, he was so devastated I had to purchase him another but I must say I'm now nervous because my two daughters also have vivofit jnr 3's and after this incident I've taken the watch in and out the bands trying to work out how on earth his fell and and was lost during normal activity and I've found that although the watch is very difficult to get into the band it actually comes out very easily, in fact way too easily.

I love the step challenge! My son has been excited to challenge me in steps. I wish we could challenge each other in other exercises linked to my forerunner. And I wish it had the find my device feature too. He misplaced his for a whole week before we found it.

So the games are all on an app and not helpful for younger kids unless maybe if you have siblings. Ultimate he got another watch and returned this one. He wanted more features like games and could take images, video, and record his voice. That is what a 7 yr old boy wants.

We got 2 of these for our boys for Christmas. They love them. They enjoy the adventures when they reach goals, earning coins towards allowance, and tracking their sleep. However, the watch constantly needs sync'd to view any data. They have to sync them multiple times a day to update data on the app, check off chores etc which we all find very annoying. It's our only complaint.

My two girls received this for Christmas. We like it but it does not allow for any independence. It requires an app and they do not have their own phones . It has one button on the side that can be difficult to navigate the screens and there is no touch screen feature. They can only update and complete the activities on my phone. I need to see if they can complete the activities on the computer. It is probably best for very young children.

I bought this for my 8 y/o for Christmas and i dont think it's worth the price. The screen is too dark and no way to adjust it. I returned it . I actually went to Ross the next day and bought him a similar watch for $15 which actually had more features and brightness was exactly what we were looking for.

We've had Vivofits in the past, but over time things happen and we had to replace them. All our attempts to replace this watch with others was a disaster!! We came back to the Vivofit and we are so pleased!! It is the BEST of all kid fitness tracker watches by far!!

This is a great fitness watch for kids. The only drawback is that the watch can fall out of the band more easily after about a year's use.

I can't believe you can't adjust the screen brightness. Way too dark for kids unless you hold the button. Would not have bought if I had known this.
