I had to contact Harmon tech and he updated a new version to give correct yardage. Also it doesn't change time zones like I expected it to. The golf part is great now just should not have to do that on a new watch.

I bought this watch in June. It will be a good aid to my game. However a little disappointed that the watch DOES NOT come with a charger or operation manual. The warranty says not to use a charger that was not from Garmin. The store doesn't sell chargers from Garmin and they said they never supply one. I had to download and print the manual (corporate America passing chargers to consumers). The watch band is not very long. I am on the second to last notch so the band slips out of the catch and is anoying.

Unhappy with The Grint, I needed another tool. The Garmin is as advertised. Quite happy overall with the purchase. A bit pricey and the navigation during a round can be less than smooth in certain situations when using it. Could be I need to learn the device interface a more than I have so far.

I've been waiting for a watch that does it all. This does it all and more. Where do I start? The battery lasts forever. It's been a week and the battery is still at 44% even after a round of golf. This measures everything you want and more. Heart rate, steps, sleep patterns, etc? Workouts, bike, pool, run Connects to music apps, pay apps. Endless options This AMOLED screen is the cherry. So bright. The processor speed is ridiculous. Found the course map I was playing and loaded in literally 5 seconds. My golf buddies couldn't believe it. I haven't even started talking about the accuracy and data of the golf functions. Topographical Greens can be displayed like heat maps. Know the high and low side of the green while putting. There's so much more I can say. Totally worth the price.

I received this as a gift for Fathers Day, and am pleasantly surprised with the product. I golf 4-5 rounds per week, but have had a handheld Bushnell range finder for years. I find that the yardage is accurate on the Garmin, and I like that I can keep score with it. I also like that I can track Fairways Hit, Green in Regulation and Putts for each round. I download the scorecard after every round, and review the results. That helps me to identify areas that I need to work on. I don't normally wear watches, but I have the Garmin on all the time to track my steps.

Other than the golf features on the watch, everything else is pretty trash. Plus, the garmin golf app is by far the worst I have ever seen (compared to arccos and other Apple Watch golf trackers), giving you very little data.

Losing my Approach S60 a week before a tournament put me in a real dilemma, I love my S60 and I could find a replacement on Amazon, upgrade to the S62 or go crazy and pay double the amount for the new S70. After doing my research and watching several YouTube video's I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the S70 (47mm). I have no regrets, this watch is fantastic the screen is vivid, and the features are awesome, even counts my strokes for scoring not to mention all the other features like heart rate weather etc. and the battery life is amazing I sure I could get 3 rounds of golf from one charge if not more. Great job Garmin!!

I bought the S70 for the combination of Golf GPS & health data. As an aging golfer both are extremely important to me. There is tremendous value in having 43,000 worldwide golf courses in memory. Travellers love this. The GPS with additional weather info is a couple levels up. It helps explain previously unknown elements. It has definitely helped my golf. The health info; sleep, ox level, heart rate tracking, steps is all important. One last thing is that Garmin has a huge variety of time face options. A lot are free and others avail for a small fee. All add to making your wrist jewelry your own. Love the product

I had the watch for about 3 months now. Replaced an Apple Watch. The key things I like is the golf features, fitness features, battery life, and screen clarity. My biggest endorsement; not going back to an Apple Watch. The fitness and health features are better and the golf features are the best in the industry. One thing that can be upgraded is the band. The stock isn't that comfortable, but have replaced it with two other bands that are great.

I bought the watch 2 weeks ago for golf features including the club sensors as well as a replacement for my Fitbit Sense. Overall happy with both features. Only downside is you need two different apps to keep track of Fitness stats and golf stats.

I bought this watch 3 weeks ago because my S60 would go 12 holes and battery would die. Well they said the battery on this S70 47 mm was much improved well this week I wore it 24hrs for 5 days played 3 rounds of 18 holes and the battery only got down to 49%. It also has so many great features the others don't have. I and really glad I paid the extra to buy this model.

The S70 is an improvement over my S62 golf watch, but not really worth $699. In fact, they may have tried to jam too many wiz-bang feature "upgrades" into it. Not worth paying more for. I should have stuck with my S62.

I have used the D2 Mach 1 for many years but I was attracted to the much brighter screen of the Approach S70. It works right straight out of the box and I love the feature set. I wear it all the time to continue using the sleep functions and all the workouts and I also use it for all my golf rounds. Lately, I've also started using the Tempo Training feature and I love it!

Very easy to use/ navigate and has great features. Only issue is you can't get very far from your phone without the watch disconnecting. I'd say approximately 20 yards. Overall great watch

I upgraded from the S62 which was also a great golf watch, S70 screen is much brighter, many more features for golf compared to S62 and has a lot more health features. The swing tracking seems to be much better with S70, practice swings do not register like S62. Both my lowest rounds have been once I owned a Golf GPS watch as knowing Front and Back makes it so much easier to select the right club to get GIR's
