The slide holder itself worked very satisfactorily and I would give it a five star. The reason for the three star is that if you have a Kodak 140 slide carousel, this slide holder will not drop down in that it is a smidgen wider than the usual cardboard slide holders. As a result I will have to get A different replacement. They are made in Germany and the quality is very fine. If you have an 80 slide carousel, it would work just fine.

Have many slides that the paper mounts broke down, these are easy to use - a great way to preserve the slides

I have been digitizing a lot of old slides. The cardboard mounts have given up on a lot of the slides. These plastic mounts are the best. The film slides under two miniature holders on 1/2 half of the slide mount and the other half snaps into place to hold the slide. I highly recommend these slide holders.

I've just started looking at old slides from my service in Korea. Many were bent, separatig, or unable to fit in my new slide viewer. These worked great. I have replaced about 100 of the slide and am about to order another box of these. Great buy.

These slide frames seem to be OK - only time will tell if they hold up. The installation of the slide is awkward, but I finally figured out that using a ballpoint pen tip inserted in a perforation to move the slide up under the two attachment points kept my fingers off the slide, but did not harm the slide itself. The plastic frame is very slippery, making stacking and carrying somewhat difficult. It is also a tiny bit thicker than my paper frames, so I can't easily get the same number of slides in the compartments of a slide sorter box. Also annoying, frankly, was the inordinate amount of time it took to receive this simple order from Adorama - over two weeks from ordering. Meanwhile, I got many unsolicited emails from Adorama. The box isn't very big and it arrived in the mail in a fat envelope. I guess I should have opted for a faster delivery option.

So glad I was able to get the slide mounts even though they’re outdated now.

Much better than the ultra thin ones the processing lab uses. They hold the film relatively flat. They scan on my Epson V750 just fine. And also fit in my old Olympus OM slide copier.

I needed cardboard mounts, but these are plastic.. I should of asked ahead of ordering. Plastic is thicker, hard to stack, hard to pick up. Hard to write on.

I checked several sellers before deciding on going with Adorama. Not only were they almost 2/3rds lower than other sellers in price. I was delighted to find that the quality of the product was more than I had expected. From the photo of the slides, I expected cardboard, instead they were durable plastic. I'm very pleased.

The mounts were used to replace existing paper mounts and have worked well. It should be noted that the mounts are assembled only in one 24x36 direction for a standard 2x2 mount.

I have used slide Jackets from this supplier in the past. I have about 50 years into photography experience and have been archiving negatives onto 35mm slide jackets for some time. My previous products were metal, in part, and somewhat thicker. I found these jackers, meeting my expectations, and I will order more in the near future. I can then digitize the images as necessary in oder to participate in my club and provide prints as needed. The 35mm system provides an easier method to catalog and store my images.

I was in the process of sending my negatives out for scanning, and cut the ones I didn't want off the strips. Then I found out that my scanning service can't handle single negatives. I have a slide scanner, so I bought these slide mounts so I could scan the single negatives myself. I did a test of one and it worked fine. I was also able to open the mount back up so that I can reuse them until I've finished with my project.

These slide mounts are sort of clumsy to work with having to place the two halves together, but are quality.

Simply the best, low-cost mounts that can be had. Quality has improved on this product since I first tried it, and has been good ever since.

If you do not need the special advantages and protection that glass mounts give, GEPE also offers a complete line of glassless mounts.
