I first bought the fenix but returned it for the epix. Best thing I did, as I work indoors but want to be able to see my watch outdoors when I am biking, atving etc.. I love the battery life and the maps which coming from a Samsung watch 5pro that didn't have those features.

After figuring out the watch on my own I have to say it blows Samsung out of the water. Battery life for weeks is weird, but very welcome. I love all the features. Now learning outdoor maps plus. If you are looking for a sportsmen's or women's watch, the epic pro 51 mm is it. Very happy with my purchase

The software can run slow at times. The ergonomics and buttons not as good as apple. Like the battery life.

I received my EPIX Pro Sapphire last week and have had nothing but problems since getting it set up. It freezes non-stop, making it essentially useless, and VERY FRUSTRATING after paying over $1000 for a watch. I will be returning this and hopefully the replacement will be better.

I came to the Pro from the Epix Gen 2 for the added feature of ECG. This watch has the amazing amoled screen and all the features one could want.

I love the EPIX PRO AMOLED display, flashlight feature, and ECG capability. It was a bit nerve racking waiting until the ECG App would download to my Garmin Connect App, since it took more than 24 hours (maximum estimated time from Garmin). I have changed my watch face and explored a lot of its capabilities, but I'm sure that after only a few days, I have only scratched the surface. Garmin has delivered yet another excellent product. This is the reason why I have purchased several other of your devices over the past several years.

I have had 2 Apple Watches and just made the switch. First off, this was a huge decision because I am a HUGE Apple product fan, and I live in their ecosystem. However, I took the chance and made the change to the Garmin Epix Pro and I am NOT turning back! This product is more than I expected and truly a game changer!

I got this just over a month ago. I am still learnng but it paired nicely with my Samsung Galaxy S23. Still learning all the functionality. My husband has an older style Garmin watch and is really jealous of the flashlight that is built in on mine LOL it does come in handy!

I've been using my Epix Sapphire Pro 47mm for a couple of weeks after being an Apple Watch user for 8 years. There are definitely smartwatch features that you give up by switching to the Garmin but if messaging and Siri aren't important for you to have on your wrist then the Garmin is better at everything else. The comfort, style, battery, and health and fitness tracking on my Epix are far superior over the Apple Watch Ultra.

I am a first time smart watch user. I was looking at Garmin and Apple watches. I like to get this one seem to have more health and athletic tracking features. I am still trying to figure out how to use some of the interfaces but all in all very intuitive.

I bought this watch a month ago and has been performing as expected. Mainly use it for offshore racing and everyday use. I don't have a Garmin navigation system on board but regardless performs well as a standalone device. Great watch!

I have been wearing Garmin watches for years (Fenix and Tactix lines) and am a huge fan. I was going to wait for the Tactix 8 to be released but decided to get the epix 7 Pro instead and I'm glad I did. The epix 7 Pro has all of the features I was hoping for and the AMLEOD screen is perfect. Garmin just keeps getting better and better! Great products and the Garmin Connect app is getting better all the time as well.

I have used a Fenix 6 Pro Solar every day for 2 years. I upgraded to this Epix Pro Gen 2 Sapphire because the solar function on the Fenix 6 stopped working and also wanted to try the new AMOLED and touch screen on the Epix. I like everything about the watch except the sharp edges around the edges of the face. See photo. The metal lugs (1. in the picture) of the watch are sharp enough to possibly cut skin, knife edge sharp. Must have been missed during manufacturing? There are 4 lugs on this watch and 2 are very, very sharp and 2 are not so sharp. I like the watch and decided to keep it but will have to try to file down those sharp edges. The minor area (2. in the picture) of sharpness is not going to cut anybody but is annoying and my fingers catch on it all the time when using the watch and just feels uncomfortable.

Had Fenix 6X Pro since 2001, decided to upgrade to Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire 51MM. Wow, what an upgrade! First and foremost, the AMOLED face is beautiful, there are added functions for avid runners ( I log 1800-2400 miles a year), the built in flashlight is surprisingly high powered, and the battery life is incredible. In addition, seems like treadmill calibration is much better on this Epix 2 v Fenix 6x Pro, and the hill climb feature is really cool trail running or hill running. Touchscreen is a much added plus, was skeptical about touch screen since I sweat a lot, but so far touch screen has not been impacted by drops of sweat. Watch is a bit pricey ($200 off right now for Fathers Day special!) but well worth it if you are a true fitness enthusiast.

I've used the Fenix 5, 6 and 7, and I think the Epix family got it right 100%. Having a MOLED screen and all the features of Garmin makes this their best watch to date!

Battery life was a big reason to come back and now I can wear it to track my sleep so a plus there. It charges fast - within 2-3 hours. I missed the tracking of my activities with the mapping and glad to have that back. I do miss being able to see text messages but it wasn't as important. The display is very good so glad to step up to the Epix versus the fenix so guess it was an early gift to myself.

I've been a Garmin user for many years, having had the Forerunner and Fenix versions before the Epix. I feel this watch combines the best of both worlds, offering great performance while being sleek and light.

This watch is absolutely fantastic. I've been a long-time Apple watch user - for running, swimming, hiking, and general - but have also used Garmin for my Tacx cycle trainer, HRM, and Edge cycling computuer. I decided to get the garmin club sensors for golf and it made a lot of sense to switch to a garmin watch. The ease and functionality of this is just incredible. And the data it now gives me for swimming and running is FAR better than anything that apple was providing. To be fair, for me it's kind of like buying a GT3RS for trips to the grocery store, but I absolutely love it!!!!

I've owned over 5 Garmin watches. From 4 different Fenix models to a Tactix 7 and by far this is the best I've owned. The amoled screen is incredible. Bright, crisp, beautiful. The battery life is phenomenal. I own an Apple Ultra and it now sits on the charger.

I bought my watch a few weeks ago and since have been hiking in Mammoth and climbed Mt. Whitney to Trail Camp at 12,400. I've worn it to bed at night and day after day. It's helped find a route back on a map to camp after changing routes and looking to route find. Its flashlight has come in handy. So far the main things I am not thrilled with is that sometimes messages pop up several times a day that seem to not be important, the sleep monitoring seems way off, and there is no "Backpack" activity where you can tell the thing you're carrying an additional 40 lbs. on your back. Its interface is intuitive enough I'm getting the hang of it.

Bought this Epix Pro after my fenix7 stopped holding a charge a few weeks ago. The amoled screen is a nice upgrade and the battery life is good. It's features for athletes is similar to the fenix7 and fenix5 which were both great running watched too. The heart rate monitor on the Epix hasn't been as accurate as my fenix7 on runs though. It occasionally reads in the 120's when I'm really in the 160s. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of that.
