The watch is lovely and quite comfortable even while sleeping. Heart rate stays really low for the first ten minutes of my run (when other devices and manual say otherwise) and then sometimes will shoot up to 175+ for the entire hour after. Struggling to find a device that actually tracks the heart rate accurately.

I've had the Epic Pro for about 5 weeks. It keeps track of my workouts, sleep, rest days. Lets me know if I'm ready for another hard workout.

I received my watch a few weeks ago and love it! My first suggestion is don't try to use all the features immediately - in fact you probably can't. The ability of Epix is epic! i've charged it once and use a lot of the features. I live is the foothills of Colorado, so hiking and exploring is always on my list of things to do. I love the map capability and built in compass is excellent. I had other smart watches and never believed the health aspect of my watches. Epix Pro 2 gives me accurate sleep, stress, heart rate, steps and so much more. A new user might find this helpful. Download the operators manual (yeah, it's huge) and start by understanding the functions of the watch and then "CTRL F" and type what you want to focus on, like "sleep score". Learn what you can about that and then move on to another subject. You'll learn a lot and have fun doing it. This has literally eliminated all my other watches "smart and regular". Did I mention all the golf courses loaded in the watch? That feature is amazing. Enjoy it! I am... Sorry for the dirty watch picture... I actually use it for more than jewelry

I bought the Epix Pro Sapphire 42mm last month and I'm loving it, even though it was not my first choice. I originally wanted the Forerunner 965 due to its slimmer profile and the price, while still having all the features I wanted. Unfortunately my wrist is only 6" in diameter so the 51mm watch face was way too large. The Epix Pro 42mm still has all the features I wanted (built in mapping and routing + cycling + rowing) and the AMOLED display, so it was the next best choice and doesn't disappoint. It's incredibly easy to use, intuitive, is just as accurate for gps as my Edge, and the display is amazingly clear. I no longer have to carry my bike computer for well known routes just to get the stats and I no longer have to keep track of extra gear on a ride. Only downside is the extra height of the face. It feels noticeably bulkier than the F965 but I'm used to it now and it's less noticeable the longer I wear this amazing watch. Doesn't disappoint!

I got this watch for the following reasons: AMOLED display, touch screen, more advanced heath and fitness tracking, and to track all of my activities which include wake surfing, hiking, running, trail running, and downhill and backcountry skiing. The watch looks great, touch screen work great, and it tracks everything beautifully EXCEPT backcountry skiing. It will still be calculating changes in elevation even though it says I am transitioning. It will also say I am transitioning even after I have restarted after a break on the uphill. There is also roughly a 500-1000 foot difference between this watch and my husband's Coros. I am not sure where the issue is but it may be with the wonky transition tracking. I do wish it was a little easier to toggle between an imported course and the various backcountry screens once I've started moving as well.

I have had several Garmin watches throughout my life. Everything on this watch is PEEFECT except for one major feature - the music. The music will cut in and out repeatedly. I have tried everything to solve this problem. This is the only watch I've ever had that does this. Very disappointed to spend over $1,000 and have this happen.

I've been using the Epix Pro since Thanksgiving/2023. This was an upgrade from Fenix 6 solar. I enjoyed my Fenix but prefer the oled/touch screen feature of the Epix and was concerned about battery life as Epix doesn't have a solar version. but this thing here lasts for two weeks with daily external exercises (using GPS) for 1h30/2h00. This is the 51mm model (where as Fenix was the 47mm and battery never lasted that long). All in all, I am very happy with my upgrade (note: that flashlight can't be more handy)

Without any basic instructions, I have found it frustrating to figure things out. I'm disappointed that I have to enter my walk info into the app on my phone. I have tried looking up my questions online and haven't found the answers. A lot of trial and error.

Coming from a Fitbit this Epix 2 Sapphire DLC carbon titanium blows it out of the water in terms of fitness tracking. Sleep scores are accurate. Training readiness is a helpful feature to determine how much rest is needed between workout days. The golf tracking and app are literally game changers. Exact yardage for clubs on course is tracked and averaged over time. Also provides maximum yardage for each club. My only criticism is regarding the cosmetics. Although the DLC coating is durable, the titanium bezel is not. I barely tapped the watch against a counter and now there's a small dent in the bezel. Otherwise pleased with this device.

Obviously, this is not a cheap watch and may be overkill for many users, but it should be a wonderful upgrade for many people. Good battery life and health stats worth knowing. I will say that the built in flash light is used more frequently than I ever imagined. Who would have thought?

Just buy it. The long battery life, flashlight, and rugged build quality make this the garmin to get in my opinion. I use the flashlight multiple times a day, and it's bright enough i dont even carry a light on me anymore. If you are on the fence between this and any other model, get this one because ive tried them and they just don't compare.

This is my 4th Garmin smartwatch and the leaps they've made in the last 10 years are incredible. Compared to my previous Fenix 6, the epix pro 2 is next level. On the run heart rate data seems much improved. Sleep tracking seems a bit more in line with how I felt the night went. I have exactly 0 issues viewing the screen in direct sunlight, a common thing you'll hear about any watch with this type of display. The display itself is absolutely a joy to look at. The battery life of the 51mm is incredible, even longer than my Fenix 6 in gps mode. And the 51mm doesn't look that much bigger on my wrist than the 46mm Fenix did. Overall I could not be happier with my choice in buying this watch!

I bought this watch and gave up my Apple Watch which I had for 8 years. my Garmin watch now provides me with so much more information and details than my other. I love that it so much more durable, more appealing to the eye and just an overall better watch. The only thing that I miss sometimes is having that cellular option. Only because I have kids and sometimes walk away from my phone and would hate to miss something from them or school etc. But honestly all in all this is by far the best watch I have owned and I see myself returning to Apple NEVER.

I upgraded my standard 47mm epix to the epix Pro 42mm, due to the ECG app availability. Although I would have been happier if the new feature would have come with a new software update on the old watch, I did not regret my purchase. I like the smaller watch face better, and the built--in watch face customization options are also great! The watch is very accurate and part of my daily life. Great job Garmin, keep it up!

Battery life is amazing, I love being able to adjust the watch faces to see the stats I'm interested in tracking. My main focus is tracking my walk distances, as my dogs age I don't want to push them too hard but I want to keep us both healthy and active along with keeping track of my cycling activities. It's so nice not to have to worry about running out of battery life half way thru the day like I would with my iWatch. I was already a Garmin Connect app user since I ride with a Garmin Edge 830 and I love that unit. The Epix has so many great features that I'm learning more each time I have a spare minute to watch more youtube videos on it.

Garmin user since Fenix3, last watch was Instinct 2X and now jumped back into the Fenix/Epix arena! The 51mm size is perfect and offers substantial battery life over the smaller sizes. I use it with an always on display option and I am easily getting 10 days with one Activity - approx :30-45 min daily! Rowing indoors right now, but will be back outside on the bike as soon as it gets back to 40F plus! Short story - beautiful easy to read display with amazing health metrics HRV etc. to help make good choices! Integrates easily with BT, WiFi and is trouble free and dependable. Had some shipping issues and Garmin customer service folks took care of everything!

This is my second Garmin Watch. The amoled screen makes this watch exceptional. I do short triathlons obstacle course raaces and training. This watch covers all bases. It has allowed me to improve my fitness substantially as a senoir.

It took me awhile to configure. It's not as easy as an iWatch to set up, but the functionality far outweighs an iWatch. The battery life is far superior s well.
