Originally bought the 47mm version, watch face too small for all the data-rich features Garmin packs into this device. Traded it for the 51mm version and I am much happier. The watch covers the gamut of uses from outdoor adventure to swimming, biking, walking, HIIT, treadmill, etc...menu preselections from Garmin need to be modified to your uses. Order of data/features easily adjustable to your needs. The extra battery time from the 51mm is big bonus on the device, great to minimize the 'power-up time' anxiety. I got the full time out of it that Garmin specs. That said, I have not, as yet, used it with nav or maps or tracking running so I will be looking to see how the power diminishes when I use it for a lengthy hike (days in the back-country) and paired with my InReach device for full integration of way-points and messaging/explorer app. I also use to keep track of heart-rate as I do heart-rate training when cycling and when firefighting to see how my exertion levels are. Great to track that. The sleep mode is pretty nice though when set, it is hard to get out of it to have the watch functioning fully during the time you set sleep mode for. The morning report is also a nice feature, not sure how accurate it is on sleep measurements; restfulness, etc... Overall, very satisfied with the watch. It is not a daily for me as I mainly use it during activities. I do recommend the 51mm for easier viewing of data, especially at a distance.

Really nice watch, especially when they ran the special on it. Was 200 dollars off. Great battery life and super customizable.

New to Garmin and bought my first watch f?nix® 7 Pro - Sapphire Solar Edition. Did not know what to expect after using an apple watch for years. Made the switch and the Fenix has provided me everything and more. It took a little bit to get used to, but once I figured it out, its an easier device to use than the apple watch. This device has told me a lot more about myself that the apple watch didn't. It provides a lot of data that I find useful as I train. This watch is bulkier than the apple watches but has been durable as I am a wreck less person and bump my wrist on everything. I have enjoyed my purchase and would take the fenix over the apple watch I had any day. Next hope is Garmin makes a fenix that is dive compatible next.

Love the Garmin 7x pro sapphire. Coming from the Apple Watch for so many years up until the Ultra first edition. This watch blows it out the water when it comes to the health features and tips and tricks to get better. You don't have to sit there and go from app to app on the Apple Watch just to get a workout in. Did I mention they have a virtual training on your watch that will show you basic workouts? Track everything and share with friends. If you and your family is in the Apple ecosystem you can still link your Apple health features. Best of yet the watch can last 37 days! Yes I said it right 37 days! No need to plug it in or traveling have to worry about adding more wires to your travels. Charge it soon and you get it and it should last you 37 days unless you are using the gps features. Stop playing around and searching like I did for comparisons. Apple Watch Ultra 2 is $799 and the Fenix 7x pro right now is same price 51mm. Can't go wrong with Garmin it's something that's going to last you for years to come.

The sleep tracking is so bad it throws off all the recovery and training metrics. Garmin is focusing too hard on hardware and not software. After three months of poor scores due to bad sleep tracking I just went to Apple Watch. It's becoming clear that garmins 24/7 health monitoring is a gimmick at best and a guess at worst.

Fantastic watch! User friendly, reliable, and most of all comfortable. Personal use, local park runs to Ironmans and everything in between.

This would get a 5 star but I'm transitioning from Apple Watch to this but I don't like how it doesn't sync up all the way with rings, only a few stats per YouTube with the Apple Health app. So, I'd ruin my 4 year streak on Rings if I transitioned all the way to my Garmin Fenix 7 Pro. But, so far loving all the stats compared the my Apple Watch.

I bought this with just three things in mind & the thought of expansion later. It has more features than I will ever use. I'm just learning it, but would love if it had a simple weight lifting choice, no laps and things I don't need. Just Timed worked out, avg/max Heart rate, Cal Burn. and if I need to add one thing or two. freestyle just like the treadmill option. just select and go

I have my feniz 7 pro for about two weeks now and I am constantly referring to it for information. It is a great health benefit. My only complaint and this is a minor one, I wish the screen was a little brighter. After wearing this watch I can no longer wear my Rolex. In today's world a watch has to do more than tell time.

I didn't think it would be much of an upgrade over my Apple Watch , but the fenix 7 pro has changed my life. I should have bought way sooner. It's totally worth it!

I upgraded to the Fenix 7s from the Forerunner 245. BIG improvement on features and technology. I'm still learning all of the various things that the watch can do, but I love all of the metrics and information that the watch provides. The biggest difference that I think others should know is that it feels significantly heavier than the forerunner. It also has a metal bezel and is a bit thicker than the forerunner, so I just need to adjust to the larger size. I'm a fan of all the additional features of this watch and will learn to carry the extra weight.

Bought 2 weeks ago, still at 54% battery on the initial charge. I've even played golf using the GPS feature which is typically a battery drainer. Only thing missing is the ability to add the applied ballistics app. Having a ballistics chart on the watch would have been pretty nice. Guess I need the tactix for that

I have so much LUX but it does nothing for the battery so the solar part does not work. I have had it in the water three times and it froze up every time. I power it off and back on and it works. Other than these two items, I love my Garmin Fenix 7x Pro Sapphire Solar. I just wish the solar worked and it would stop freezing up in water.

Not sure I will ever get full use of this thing. It has some awesome capabilities though. I built a route on my way to vacation and sent it to my watch. Then rode it when I landed. Pretty wild. Better instructions on how to ise it would be nice. You have to google everything.

I purchased this as a replacement for my Fenix 6 Sapphire. At the time, the Fenix 6 don't have the sapphire and solar together. I'm hard on stuff so I opted for the tougher glass. I was fairly disappointed in the battery life, having a smart watch without using all the features to save battery is pointless. Logging exercise and daily life allowed me about 3-4 days between charges. I've had the new watch for a month or so and I've charged it twice. The touch screen is awesome, takes some getting used to, it can be slightly finicky at times. The larger size helps with my older eyes, I had the standard size in my 6 and went to the large size now and it makes a difference.

I bought this watch about 3 weeks ago and it blows my old samsung watch out of the water. I just spent the last week in Aruba swimming snd snorkeling with the watch without any issues. There is no lag navigating thru different apps on the watch. Battery life seems to be slightly over 3 weeks on regular battery mode. My chief compliant is under activities app you just can't select gym/strength training for an activity. The watch wants a specific exercise (ie chest press) to count your reps/sets etc. Little to advanced for me.

I have been a Suunto owner for quite some time now. I love the older models. I opted to go with the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar for an update. I love it. Easy to use, looks great and seems to be built to survive the outdoors. For me, the solar part is not a deal breaker. I could use the non solar edition and never miss it. I live in Arizona though, so sun is not a problem. For me, watch is easy to read, is very useful in the areas that I use the most. The GPS, UTC time, Step counter, Altitude, Trail Maps and notifications. Overall, very useful for me. The price is not inexpensive. I waited until REI had it on sale and jumped on it. Glad I made the purchase. I hope to use this watch for quite a few years. It should be able to hang. I would purchase again.

I've had the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire for a couple week. It is a really nice watch. Only thing I would say that I wish that was better is the solar charging. I've charged it twice. Once when I got it and then a week later. Most of my day is spent in office so I should not complain about the charging. I know I can put it battery save mode but that defeats the purpose of why I bought it.

I really like it, i have only two cons which is the processor is too slow when you deal with the maps and the touch screen need more improvements

It been everything I've expected and more, switched from Apple and wouldn't go back. Only thing it's missing and I've read a lot of people wishing the same thing, is to be able to control the apple phone camera through the watch without purchasing a app that uses a less quality camera

Great battery life. No comparison to the Apple Watch in terms of battery life. A little complicated to use, not user friendly. Screen could be brighter especially during the day. I should have gotten the smaller 47mm size. 51 a little big and screen brightness no better than the 47mm. Have not gotten into the maps yet. The perfect match would be Garmin's battery and Apple's watch.
