I am absolutely obsessed with my watch. The way it looks, feels, how it works, the battery life! Everything so far has been great! I have been wearing it for almost a month and I don't have any complaints.

Really like the FR 265s. Bought it to pair with my Garmin cycling computer and it works great. Broadcasts HR to the computer easily. Easy to set up, did have a small issue after a software update, Garmin support was wonderful and helped me solve the problem. Would recommend.

Nice Watch

this Garmin is the best thing that I've purchased in a long time. I love all of the features. It took a little bit to learn how to use it and I still have more to learn, but I love it!

Love this Garmin!!

I moved away from the Apple Watch, and I am so glad I did. I spent weeks researching several Garmins before finally deciding on the Forerunner 265S. Suits my needs perfectly and gives me room to grow.

The Perfect Watch Does Exist!

I switched to the Garmin 265S from a Whoop. I prefer the Garmin so much more. It still gives me all the info I need about my sleep, recovery and training readiness. But it also allows me to track my runs better and I love all the data I get about it. I'm currently using the included coaching function to train for a 10k and really enjoy it.

Exactly what I needed

I tried both the Venu and the FR 265s and found that for working out, this one is superior. I find the display bright enough for sunny days and the ability to switch between buttons and the touchscreen to work really well. I was hoping for a better use of the Garmin Coach but since I am not a runner, it is pretty useless. Otherwise, excellent features, great battery life and quick bluetooth and wifi connections. Very happy with this purchase!

Nice upgrade from FR245

I spent a lot of time researching and am so happy I landed with this forerunner 265s. It's sleek, so many features, love the triathlon option, screen and brightness is fantastic.

Love this watch!

I upgraded from the Venu 2s to the Garmin Forerunner 265s & I love the features and data, especially for running! I would highly recommend for any runner, it's very helpful to see my data in regards to pace and recovery.

Amazing watch!!

I've had my new Forerunner 265S for about a month now and I've really been enjoying it. I had an older forerunner model, so it wasn't too difficult to get used to the menus and options. I like the morning summaries when I wake up so I know immediately how much/how hard I can workout that day. The sleep coach has helped me too! Otherwise, the workout features are great, the music is easy to connect, personalization was pretty easy to set up. The only thing I need to figure out is how to make the screen not go crazy when I wear it in the shower - basically every drop on the watch face triggers the touch screen. Super solid watch and upgrade from my 245!

So far, so good!

I changed my 255s music for the 265 a few weeks ago and it's not an upgrade, it's a change of league all around. From the display to the features, it just feels like a much more robust and stable watch. I had some problems with the 255s both in connectivity to the app and to external sensors but that hasn't been the case with the 265s. It's the watch I always wanted. Wished the battery lasted a little longer but can't have it all in such a lightweight small device.

It's perfect!

I am a fan of Garmin running watches! These are running watches with the ability to validate recovery, exhaustion, training readiness and sleep. I often wake up after sleeping 9 hours and feel exhausted. This watch will not only let me know the quality of my sleep and recovery but lets me know when I may feel tired etc. this watch is incredible! Excellent details of training knowledge. 



Only request of for smaller wrist band and better colors. 



I prefer the previous home screens as I was able to remove some info screens during the day. 



I love this watch for fitness data! I love the am report informing me of the quality of sleep. For someone who wants a fitness watch, this is my top pick over Apple or Samsung. Garmin makes a fitness watch with smartwatch capabilities. These notifications can be easily removed. 



My favorite data- body battery! This explains why you may have more or less energy during the day.

Love the forerunner 265S

I've had this watch for 2 weeks, and I really love it. Lots of useful features, but simple and designed specifically for running. I especially like to see my training readiness. Gives good feedback on how I'm recovering! The watch is so lightweight I barely even notice it's on.

Great overall watch!

I bought this watch about a month ago and love it so much better than my Apple Watch. The features for runners and coaching is perfect. The tracking feature is great and allows my wife to watch where I am at. And, the battery life is amazing. One a week charging is the best.

Great features for runners!

Very happy with it. All you need to train smart and make decisions based on data. This is the beast watch in the market for your money. I like the small size. Don't feel I am wearing it all day.

The best Watch!

As a former Fitbit user, I switched to Garmin last month and couldn't be happier! My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. The battery life is unreal! I gave it a full charge out of the box and didn't have to charge it again for 2 whole weeks! The features do not disappoint either. I love the heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. GPS and readiness are fabulous as well. Overall, GREAT product!

Amazing battery life and great features!

I bought this watch a month ago and love it! I love how you can customize it. Inside and outside. I bought a couple of bands to change when I want to match. 

I love how I was and to customize it to how I use it. I mostly bought it for the biometrics. I am oxygen dependent and needed something to tell me my oxygen levels when walking. This works so much better than the pulse ox finger tester. So glad my husband found this watch. 

I really love the sleep coach. It's been great knowing how I sleep. Best thing I've bought! Thank you so much!

Great features!!

I got this watch to monitor my training with better data. This watch is as expected and is providing me with useful and critical information to monitor my performance and my health in general. I had a double heart ablation and needed to monitor my health a little closer path very useful data. After just one month of using it I am seeing important and critical data for my day to day life. Only downfall I can see is to let this watch drive your daily life but for now I am ok with it.

Great watch with great tech

After buying the 165 only to find that its large size in my wrist made it move around and thus I couldn't get an accurate HR reading (even trying a different band and wearing it much higher up) I decided to return it and go for this. Coming from an apple watch I love the amazing battery life, the amount of data and the suggested workouts, as well as how well spotify works (much easier to synch properly than in the apple watch) and not really missing any of the features (granted I never used imessage and calling as I primarily use whatsapp). garmin pay works well even with my small federal credit union credit card and it is easier to access. Furthermore as a runner I appreciate all the data and the easiness to start a workout. Furthermore the small size makes it one of the few garmins that can fit on my wrist and the HR works much better than in the larger ones as the watch doesn't move around anymore. Furthermore with some GPS trainings and regular one I get about a week's worth of battery.

After several years of using the Vivosmart tracker, I upgraded to the forerunner as I was ready to improve my running. Anxious at first, I'm quite pleased with how easy it was to set up and move thru the various screens. The ability to quickly set the watch to record my runs and quite me through my speed drills has been a relief. I'm enjoying it!

I bought this a month ago and have loved it since ! I use to wear an Apple Watch but Garmin is so much better and accurate! It's helped improve my running and even works as my OTF monitor !

Wonderful watch!

Great watch for some sports but I wanted this watch to track outrigger canoe paddling. I do not need some of the features and want my watch to be my watch - edited so it does exactly what I want. And that is so VERY VERY counterintuitive. And WHY does everything have to be so focused on running and a few sports? I understand it used to be worse but come on Garmin, you did the hard work with the hardware, now fix the software! I cannot find any real support beyond the most basic start up and even that is clunky. The app is good at giving an overall look at health, but it does not help to set up the watch so MY sports are what come up - I do not want the long list and then "other". I want to hide the things I do not use. For this $$$ price I should be able to make the watch do what I want and not have to work so hard to get through stuff put on the watch for other users.

Want to love it but?

After many years using the 735 XT, I upgraded to the 265S. I wasn't sure what I would think of the touch screen, but I love it. It is intuitive and easy to use, and visibility in bright and low light is great. I also enjoy the morning report and other health features.

I was really enjoying this watch until I found I had to charge it very frequently. I'm an endurance athlete but didn't think I would need to charge it once a week.

Great Features but Unimpressive Battery Life

Brought this watch beginning of December 2023 with for various reasons, especially the heart rate montior & steps settings along with various sports options, love it highly recommended, only downside is lost of connectivity when finishing a workout or uploading to Garmin Connect app.

Excellent Muti sports watch

I was unable to set up the watch due to defective software. Garmin website acknowledged the flaw and requested that I download software by connecting to my lap. That didn't work. It has been a very frustrating experience. I returned it fir a refund.

Defective

I researched so hard to find the right Garmin for me. I needed the coaching, but really didn't need every bell and whistle out there. I also have a smaller wrist size, so the 265S was perfect. I love that it helps me plan a routine. I struggled before knowing what to do, but now, it plans it for me. I love that I get my morning report. Sleep coach is awesome. I am a novice runner, but I hope to get better with the guidance of Garmin.
