Above water the device worked as expected. Underwater the smaller center tube started filling up with water. This made me doubt that it will float for more than a minute or two. I will be contacting the manufacturer for a replacement.

Bought it on the Monday, received it on the Friday, and I live in Australia! Best investment if your into using a go pro alot! , Solid build, good charge from the batteries. What else is there to NOT complain about?!

By far the best iterms iv ever bought iv had a few things , Battery and duel charge are brilliant also had dive case and bomber jacket ,pen and evo selfie stick witch is amazin It floats and it’s transparent and you don’t really notice is in a picture or taking video so welldone gopole ,great product keep up the good work 5stars

Evo looks nice and works like a charm with my gopro hero7 silver. No need for separate floating handle and selfie pole anymore.

I'm not dissapointed but overal I expected more from this product. Have it for over a year now and I like it but it have few minor cons. I like the styling + it's very light. I'm using it often together with BASE which is great idea that you can combine things from GoPole. What I really don't like is the fact it's wobble when it's extended and you can't do much about it. The other issue I found is the seal inside that likes to stuck and it's super hard to extend the pole (grease help a little). The water minimally get inside so it takes a while to dry it out for casual use but that's fine. It floats on full extension flat when shortened hangs in the water but still close to the surface. Overal is good but I think it can be much better.

It's a nice product, the invisible trick in the water is great. I don't find the Grip very solid and secure when it's fully extended : it's wobbly and lead to shaky shots. I wouldn't recommend either to use the Dome with the grip when it's fully extended.

Could not be more pleased with my GoPole Evo. I have had a handful of other floating poles and they just haven't lived up to the hype. This product is a must buy for any underwater go pro user. The bright green bottom makes it easy to spot in the water if you ever drop it and it floats perfectly. The only this I would change is have a black non transparent option but that is personal preference. I will continue to be a GoPole Customer as I continue to have my expectations exceeded.

My dive bag is filled with gopole mounts, I have the reach, the tripod, chomps, and recently I purchased the dual cam mount but the evo is my favorite. Just about every Instagram video I have is tagged #GoPole because the evo is my go to mount, secure, no fuss install, the strap is great when I have to let my GoPro hang. And the few times I may have dropped it, it would float right back to the surface. That’s even under the weight of the hero5 black. When I need to drop it in the sand for a shot it’s simple to flood. Then just as easy to clear so it’s will float again. I like to keep it retracted for the closer prospective and I freedive with this thing all the time.

Hi. I like that the pole is lightweight and will not rust. I wish it came with the attachment that worked with the gopro, to take pictures from the attachment on the pole. I still need to get that piece, so winning this prize will be very helpful. Using it in Jamaica in Jan and Hawaii this summer.

Really handy and portable to use underwater for scuba diving as well as outside when you go for a hike or cycling. I like the fact that it floats so you'll never really lose it.

The pole's extra extension allows for another great camera angle option in all environments. Plus, the wide angle extension creates the illusion that you didn't actually take the selfie yourself! Its flotation is extremely trustworthy and very convenient while in the water. GoPole's lifetime warranty is very loyal and had record breaking timing for shipping my replacement to me internationally. Couldn't imagine capturing memories with another pole.

Nothing worse than taking your nice (metal) GoPole out for a swim, snorkel, or paddle, then forgetting to thoroughly dry it out and rust follows. Not to mention diving to the bottom of the river because you accidentally let go of it! With the GoPole Evo, all those worries are gone! It floats amazingly well and there's no fear of rust! At one point, I tossed it to my wife while paddle boarding, she dropped it and I almost panicked, but then saw the thing float right to the surface. This thing is super easy to extend to get great close up shots and distant shots! Love the removable tether (so you can mount it to a 1/4 inch tripod), and it comes with the GoPro remote clip as well (though I haven't used that yet). Overall, love this accessary for all things water related!

Having seen a lot of good reviews from GoPole, I was positive about spending some extra money on the Evo, but was not pleased with the functionality when i received it. Many less expensive extension poles are more solid and have a longer reach. My biggest issue with this product occurs when extending the pole. The pole has a screw-to-tighten function to allow the extension, but within the tightener is a rubber gasket that GREATLY inhibits your ability to extend the pole quickly. You have to slowly wiggle it out little by little. Not happy with how it works, did like the clip for the Gopro remote and the grip feels nice.

When I first opened the box I was impressed with the design and look of the product. Quickly came to realize that it's not that well built. When I extended the GoPole to its maximum length I wasn't able to bring it back down. After trying a few times the rubber ring ended up sliding out of its place and now the pole was no longer extending and staying in place. It would simply slight back down. After fidgeting with it abit, I was able to get it back in working condition. Just simply think the price is a little high for the quality of the product.

I am so happy to have purchased this stick instead of the most expensive one for the GoPro. Selfie sticks were not allowed on several excursions but the Evo sticks aren't considered selfie sticks for ziplines. A while ago, I broke it because I am quite rough and I got a new replacement with no problem!

Have owned one for a few years now and has been an great investment. Works great in the water, on the water and on land. Lightweight and easy to use. Recently had an issue with the mounting area breaking. Sent in a warranty claim and within a week received my replacement . Great customer service and products. I will continue to buy more items from GoPole

Purchased the Evo before heading out on SCUBA diving vacation to Indonesia. Used while filming underwater and performed to a depth of 70ft underwater. Provided peace of mind that if I let go of the pole that it would be on the surface. The bouyancy of the pole was light enough that I did not have to keep a grip but rather let the wrist band keep it in place as I swam along. Only issue was that some water got into the pole and doesn't want to get out now.
