Great fast service Adorama. Got a killer deal on a beautiful instrument. Always wanted a Gretsch. Has the tone. Had it set up and still doesn't want to stay in tune...dooh ! Well it plays like a dream, just needs some graphite on the nut, or better open tuners. It is a keeper. The single coils sing with crisp mid range I really was impressed with. Not a pickup with much reputation. I recommend, if you like P 90s in a jazz hollowbody, you'll appreciate these. Well assembled and a couple of finish flaws around the multiple bindings. Most would miss that, I just can overlook that. It is a striking color. Love the creme pick guard and pick up rings. Now I have to brush up on some Bufallo Springfield songs.

Excellent guitar! It was exactly was I was looking for in the classic sound and looks. Adorama's price could not be beat anywhere. The service was instant, and they kept me informed where my package was. I will shop at Adorama again! Thank you!

My first non solid body electric guitar. Clearly more resonant. I don't play country, but it has a wonderful mellow voice for blues. Big in the body (but light!), which takes some getting used to, and the controls are different. The master volume control is a great feature. Once you use it, you wonder why all guitars don't have one. The body and the Bigsby do give it a unique sound, but also adaptable for different kinds of music. A lot of musical options.

Great feeling guitar right out of the box. Nice snappy pickups. The Bigsby is a lot of fun and I can't complain about the price.

I had a REAL Gretsch in the 60’s. It was Orange and is almost identical to this guitar. They’ve done a great job in trying to replicate the original guitar. Great quality, playability, and tone. I have a slight hiss that disappears when you touch the strings. May need a warranty checkup. For me Green is the new Orange. Thanks Adorama. ??

I was finished with guitar acquisition for 2019 when the deal for the Gretsch 5622T popped up. The deal was too good to pass up so I grabbed one. Boy, am I glad I did! The guitar arrived within days of my purchase in a factory sealed carton. From the factory to my hands, ready to play! Perfect setup, intonation, nut height (a true rarity), frets, pickup adjustment, flawless paint and just a hint of neck relief - as it should be! I actually look forward to receiving new guitars and giving them a full setup but this guitar needing nothing out of the box. I like my action low with no buzzing. The action is nice and low and I could drop it a little more If I wanted to. You'll see a lot of folks wanting to upgrade the Electromatics straight out of the box - there is no need! I own several proline Gretsch guitars and I would put this guitar up against any of them; it's that good. Looking for a high quality guitar that doesn't break the bank? Look no further than the Gretsch 5622T! Enough talking, watch the demo video!

Incredible guitar, high quality, but get it professionally set up as it does not hold tune well (pro setup will fix that though)

Great guitar! I had to return the first one for a replacement but the process was smooth and without issue. Would buy again. Sounds and plays fantastic.

Strings are buzzing. Guitar is great other than that. Love the color and sound when the strings aren’t buzzing

I got this as a gift for my husband - he LOVES it. It is gorgeous, it has a lovely understated metallic to it. And it sounds amazing, so bright and crisp. I don't play, but I love listening to it and highly recommend.

Very high quality regardless of the price point. Playability and set-up were great right out of the box. This is a discontinued version which has the HiloTron pick up. They are very articulate. Too bad Gretsch is phasing them out. Fretwork is outstanding and the nut is well cut. Bigsby works as it's supposed to. This is my second Electromatic in 2 months. Highly recommended by a guy who's been playing for over 40 years!

The guitar arrived well-packed. The Georgia Green is gorgeous and I can't stop looking at it. Needed a basic set-up but plays beautifully. The Super Hilotrons aren't the highest output but are bright and crunch up nicely. It took a few days of stretching out the strings for the Bigsby to keep tune. Don't expect to do insane divebombs with it; it's meant for a moderate vibrato and tasteful warbles, which it does perfectly. Pros: - beautiful finish - smooth clean tone that distorts nicely w/ some overdrive - frets are smooth without any overhang - electronics seem solid Cons: - Tough to easily find a case that fits this guitar without doing a bit of research - It dropped in price a week after I purchased it! However it's worth every penny.

The pickups on this Gretsch sound great, The action is very nice and the guitar is just fun to play. For the price, I don't think you will find anything better. It's a quality guitar for the money.

Received fast and double boxed in great shape. I have a couple of other Gretsch guitars from Adorama but this one is by far my favorite. Construction quality is excellent, the color is great, and the neck pickup has a great sound, which is unusual in my experience.

Guitar is beautiful. Had a hard time getting the proper case. Really should have been included. Currently have warranty issue with electronics. Bridge electronics are not working. Suspect switch.

I have quite a few guitars in my collection, but a few years ago I decided I want a semi-hollow guitar to add my collection. I can't afford/justify a Gibson 335, and didn't bond with any Epiphone I played, when a friend suggested Gretsch. I'm a fan of green, and had seen this guitar on the wall at several different stores. I started tinkering on it when I had the chance at the stores. Then, in May this showed up on a sale. I hesitated until the last minute, not sure if I wanted to pull the trigger, and I missed the sale. The next day I was able to pull one off a wall and play and immediately regretted not pulling the trigger the day before. So, I waited some more. After a couple months, it came up on sale again and I didn't hesitate. As for the guitar itself, it's gorgeous. The color is quite possibly my favorite color ever. The pickups sound really good (my amp was already set for a Fender Cabronita). I think the most important aspect for me wanting to play a guitar is the neck thickness and action. I've gotten rid of guitars because the necks were too thin, not so here. It has a nice heft to it, but it's not super thick. The knobs are a nice touch with an arrow to help you mentally track where your volume is set, and the Bigsby does exactly what I expected it to do. Ultimately, I'm still in the honeymoon phase, but I do not see this guitar leaving my collection for quite a while.

This gem played well right out of the box after some minor tuning adjustments. I love the sound and can play this without a amp and still enjoy the sound. I think the made in Korea are some of the best quality guitars out there in the market today.
