This is a very nice guitar, very substantial, came all set up without buzzes, everything fastened down tight and packed well. Right out of the boxes very playable and nice sounding to boot. Amazing sustain, best guitar I've played out of China. Granted I haven't bought a new guitar in a very long time but this I would compare to a $ axe from 10 years ago. Plus it's not a copy, you don't have that greasy feeling of buying something grey market like you would if you got a Chibson. Excellent quality control. These are proof that you can have a bona fide decent instrument for this price.

Very nice guitar for the money. I think the fit and finish exceeds what I've seen on other Chinese guitars.

Very happy to have this as the only Gretsch in my collection. There is something unique to them, in the tone, the feel, the construction. The finish was flawless, the tone is exceptional, the action and such was reasonably close out of the box, won't take a lot of tweaking to have it stage ready. Cranks out nice jazz and Malcolm Young's rhythm tones in one handy guitar.
