Great guitar with incredible tone and playablilty

To start, this guitar is everything I had hoped and more. I have been eyeing this P90 Gretsch for a while. I played a couple with the Bigsby and wasn't a huge fan of having that trem on the guitar. I ordered this and I'm so thankful I did. First of all, the tone, especially out of the neck pickup, is mindblowing. It's so creamy and round, but it is absolutely dynamic. Play light and you get magnificent jazz tones. Dig in and you get some pure rock and roll. The pickups blend well and give a huge range of tones from two single coils. The guitar is made in China, which I have historically been skeptical of (growing up in the early 2000s scarred me) but this guitar has changed my understanding. From a fit-and-finish perspective, it's perfect. No imperfections, electronics sound perfect, and everything is straight and tight. I have no reservations recommending this guitar as a high quality instrument to anyone. It's awesome. Regarding the color, I was pleasantly surprised to see the metallic flake. I didn't understand it would be that going in and I love it. I will say in person it feels less 'pure-red' and more of a deep copper. To me that is a good thing because I have too many red guitars already, but if you're looking for an absolutely RED guitar, this is probably info you want. Finally, not sure why they included the knob on the front horn. Feels redundant. I'll be googling to see what it's purpose is. Overall I'm blown away with this guitar and highly recommend it if you're in the market.
