This is two serious musical instruments in one!

Right away the looks of the G5031FT are amazing... the build quality for a guitar of this price range far exceeds guitars that cost more than three times more. Now for the tone.. as an acoustic it has really tight lows with that wound punch you expect from a gretsch hollowbody and high sparkly highs, nice jangle. Well balanced. As an electric, I use it with a Fender Princeton. BEAUTIFUL. Throw on the reverb, vibrato... its like a sound from another time. Really pretty, really haunting.. Now, with the sound of the acoustic and the sound of an amp together its like if the everly brothers decided to cover “crimson and clover”. Serious vibe. Amazing instrument, great build. Gretsch guitars are king.
