Ordered guitar on a whim, as it was on sale and seemed like a good value for a hollow body guitar. Hadn't much experience with hollow body's, other than trying different brands/models in gtr stores from time to time. I have 6 other guitars, all acoustics, except for 1 USA '93 Strat Plus and this Gretsch neck feels very similar to that guitar. Easy to play right out of the box. Action and intonation were almost spot on, made slight adjustment to D string on bridge. Holds tune fairly well, although I play in alt tunings almost exclusively and thus go through strings quiet often, so I may upgrade tuners to locking (simply for convenience). Stock pickups sound great to my ears: I play through a Bose L1 system (studio rig) or my Fender Acoustic 100 (coffee shop/open mic rig). Knowing what I know now, I'd buy this gtr again in a heartbeat... I'm now thinking of also getting a Gretsch semi-hollow body for really getting more out of my EQD Palisades. BTW, purchasing from Adorama was super easy and shipping was ultra-quick with the Shop-runner shipping that was offered at the time.

This is a wonderful guitar, plays just beautifully! I don't care for the colour, but for the discounted promo price I got for it washes over that. It looks well made, so far no real flaws except the finish around the "F" sound holes do not look completed. The B-A-E strings buzz pretty bad which I'm thinking may be due to the break angle, not the frets. The Bigsby is where the vibration point is located. But this does effect the playing and can be easily fixed. Ones that's done, it'll be cherry. The action is a tiny bit low at the 12th fret, but I have no issues thus far with tunning issues as per other feedback I've read. I've yanked good and hard on the trembolo bar while playing and it responses quickly and has not this far interfered with the tunning. Even thoe there might be a few problems at the beginning, they are easily fixed and your on your way. All new guitars need adjustment, so buy one of these G2420T and shred. I really like this guitar and how it handles, I play in the Church Music Ministry for Jesus and this guitar fits right in perfectly.

If your looking for a well mad Hollowbody that plays great, sounds good unplugged or plugged in and don't want to break the bank. This is it. The tone, feel of the fretboard are all well above it's pricepoint. Would reccommend to anyone. Note the Guitar needs to be set up properly, if you don't know how, take it in to a pro once you get it, have them set up the neck, file the nut, do the intonation and set the action. This goes fpr most electrics. especially ones with floating bridges. The guitar will play and stay in tune much better. Not Adorama's fault, shipping and temp changes can play havok on a guitar. Also the pro will be able to set it up for what you prefer. Also, with the shortage anncounced recently regarding Rosewood, pick up one while you still can. The rosewood neck has been a fav for years and who knows if we will see them again on guitars not costing thousands of dollars,

I purchased this guitar to play something other other than my acoustic. As someone that's self taught and only been playing for two years I wasn't sure if this guitar was what i needed but it was within my budget and once it arrived I was very impressed. The guitar stays in tune and sounds amazing. I haven't been able to put it down since i've had it. I have no complaints from purchasing from Adorama either, I received the guitar 3 days after i purchased it and it was securely packaged.

Guitar plays incredible. Tone is beautiful. Guitar is beautiful. Bigsby has a great sound to it. I didn't like the factory strings so I replaced them immediately. The fretboard is pristine. I will never buy another guitar. I hope to play this one for 30 years.

I was able to pick this up during a great sale. Really pleased with the result. The guitar came in impeccable condition and felt great right out of the box. I still need to put some miles on it, but I'm pleased so far!

Guitar is absolutely beautiful not without issues. The main problem is the guitar just doesn't hold a tune. I've been playing it now for a few weeks and no matter what I do (graphite, lube, stretch the strings) it doesn't hold the tuning to the point where I put it down and grab another guitar. The short time it does hold a tune, it sounds nice but once you bend a string or attempt to actually play it...the tuning is so off key it ends up being eye candy and not much else. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and own 3 other electric guitars none of which have this issue. It's a shame because if I really wanted to enjoy this guitar but sadly I cannot recommend it.

I was weary of ordering a brand I'd not played but was impressed in the tone from demo videos. All I can say is "WOW". I generally take mail order guitars to a professional setup, but this feels great out of the box; I plan to leave it as-is. The feel is amazing; it really bridges the gap between my electric and acoustic guitars. Super tone for Jazz. I picked this up on a sale and am glad I did.
