Great guitar - a lot of guitar for the price. Had some buzzing on some frets but adjustments took care of it all. Really nice - guitar strings came tuned to flat but otherwise great.

Pretty solid guitar, looks and sounds (without amp) nice. Had to adjust the action a lot to make it playable out of box. Something is loose and moving inside the guitar. Haven't tested with amp yet.

This is a fine guitar for the price. Out of the box the guitar was solid and set up fairly well- needing a couple of small adjustments to the truss rod and bridge to get it good to go (not a knock on the guitar - this is normal). I'm still working on fine tuning the nut slots and the bridge saddles to keep the guitar more in tune with the Bigsby, but I bought the guitar expecting some tuning stability issues due to the Bigsby... I'll get it there eventually, but don't expect it to be perfectly set up out of the box. The broadtron pickups are fine, but they do not give that high end sparkly traditional Gretsch sound. I swapped the pickups for a pair of GFS Surf 90s to get more of a twangy sound, but only because I have other humbucker guitars and wanted something different. The broadtron pickups are more than usable though, and are suitable for a variety of styles. Cosmetically, I was a bit surprised by the color. The Stirling Green finish I received is more gray than anything (I even struggle to find any undertones of green in it). I like the finish, but it is not quite what I expected. I also swapped out the knobs and switch tip to traditional chrome ones instead of the black plastic, but that's due to my own preference- not because the stock ones were bad in any way. Overall, this is a solid guitar that plays well and sounds good. It's a good introduction to Gretsch guitars, and is good enough to hold it's own against any other brands at this market level. It's not perfect, and it's different than the higher end Gretsch guitars, but it's a solid instrument in its own right.

Owning a couple of ES335 Epiphones, I thought I needed a Gretsch with a Bigsby too. I got the Stirling Green version. I'm quite happy and see that Gretsch is one of the better Guitar manufacturers out there. Zero complaints from a picky consumer.

Great guitar. Playable with or without an amp. Came out of the box set up and ready to jam. Exactly what I was looking for. Stays in tune really well even when playing hard.

Wow! This is a gorgeous guitar. It sounds amazing and plays great. I will likely purchase another because I ended up giving this one to my son (who at the last minute said he wanted a guitar for Christmas! There went dad's gift.)

Great quality. The paint looks a little more gold than cream in person in certain lighting. Very nice sounding and setup well right out of the box. Recommended.

After a basic setup this guitar has really become a pure joy to play. It sounds great even unplugged. It looks absolutely beautiful in its stand in the living room. Many pieces have resided there prior, but the Slimline outshines them all. I didn't need another guitar when I made this purchase. There is more than one for every day of the week. But I am sure glad I bought this baby. It's versatile, light, smooth on the fingerboard and just plain fun to play.

Got this guitar for on a Black Friday deal for a stellar price. The guitar looks amazing, clean and sleek. Easy to play, has adjustable neck to get the strings located just right, and that Bigsby Tailpiece is a great addition. Sounds great, nice tone, Can't think of anything wrong with it. If you get a chance buy this little gem. Shipped to me pretty fast out here in Cali too.

I've only ever really had cheap guitars before (think, Fender Squire, Ibanez Gio etc) and this one is honestly just SO much better sounding, the sustain is worlds better, the trem sounds awesome, and it stays in tune WAY longer than my other guitars.Overall I'm really satisfied with it.

Gretsches are quirky, they are temperamental, the intonation is hit or miss, but for the price Adorama offers, it is a no brainer. I love mine. I did have a slight problem with the guitar and Adorama took care of me. They have the best customer service in the business.

if your in the market for a great guitar at this price range you can't go wrong with this. Shipping took a little long but this guitar was well worth the wait. running it through a fender mustang 20 watt amp and couldn't be happier. go for it you won't be sorry

There is a smoothness and brightness with this guitar that you don't get in affordable semi-hollows, except maybe the 5th Ave. Stock pickups aren't loud, but they have some bite when you want. The Torino Green is actually almost black, so if the color matters, please be aware of that.

Revitalizing the best elements from the past, the G2622T Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut with Bigsby bursts into the modern music era with powerful sound and style. Brash and feedback-resistant, the sleek G2622T is designed for the guitarist who demands more than the mundane from an instrument-more performance, more style and most importantly, more volume-while retaining all you expect from a Gretsch.
The secret to the Streamliner's sound is twofold-the Broad'Tron BT-2S humbucking pickup and the spruce center block. Designed specifically for the Streamliner Collection, the high-output Broad'Tron BT-2S pickup spawns improved definition with tighter bass response for robust lows, pristine highs and a throaty midrange. A lightweight spruce center block runs the length of the body, reinforcing the top while eliminating undesired feedback for volume-friendly performance on rocking stages.
The Streamliner's sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout-neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching. A fast-playing 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with elegant pearloid Big Block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the white-bound nato neck with a thin "U"-shaped profile-ideal for chord work or fiery riffing. Add some shimmer and expression to your playing with the Bigsby-licensed B70 vibrato tailpiece, while the anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut grant astounding tuning stability and accurate, slip-free intonation.
All the classic eye-catching style you've come to expect from Gretsch is here-vintage-style black control knobs, enlarged F-holes for increased acoustic projection, elegant aged white binding with upgraded purfling, slick-looking nickel hardware, three-ply black pickguard and arched laminated maple construction. Nearly impossible to put down once you pick it up and start playing, the G2622T has the updated sound and classic style that has earned Gretsch accolades since the dawn of rock 'n' roll.
