So ii was cruising around slick deals and I saw this guitar on sale. I always wanted a bigsby guitar and thought this would be a great time to get one on a discounted rate. I figured the guitar would need some work. Some fret work. Maybe some frets sprout, some fret leveling and polish. Boy was I wrong. Out of the box I got to say the action was really good. The guitar nut was filed to a proper height. Everything was great on the finish work. Neck was straight as can be and there is minimal buzz on the 5th and sixth string around frets 1 through 5 here and there. I think that buzz will go away once the neck has a chance to settle. If not, I will adjust the neck. Just a couple hairs if that. And that should take care of it. The guitar plays really well. Especially in this price point. I was not expecting a guitar out of the box to play So good. I would say the pickups or about a B minus to a B. I am totally comfortable leaving the pickups as is. I always like the mod guitars but I think this one doesn't need it. The only negative mark I can give it is that the guitar nut needs a little bit of lubrication whether that's filing a little more so the guitar strings move freely or to put some guitar nut lube to help out the tuning stability. I like to bend a lot of strings when I play. It seems to get a little bit caught up on the guitar nut or the bridge. I got to figure that out later. But that's an easy fix. This guitar is a sleeper. Even at regular price i would pick one of these up. The quality is pretty high. Also, I forgot to mention the guitar neck, I have a couple Gibson 335 and Epiphone 335s and they got really chunky necks. This neck I would classify as a chunky C neck if that's possible . It has some chunk but not too thick just right. I think. Plays really well. The only other thing I would do is probably polish the frets and this guitar should be ready to rock and roll. This is my two cents.

I love my new Guitar!
The impressively affordable G2622T-P90 Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut P90 with Bigsby is designed for three simple things - high gain-friendly performance, slick, easy playability and spectacular style.
The G2622T-P90's sound is the perfect blend of brash and brawn with a chambered spruce center block driven to the limit by all-new Gretsch FideliSonic 90 pickups. These single-coil 90 pickups retain the full warm tone of a traditional P90 with a distinct top-end that is articulate and well-defined. The lightweight spruce center block runs the length of the mahogany body, reinforcing the arched top while eliminating undesired feedback for volume-friendly performance on modern stages.
The Streamliner's sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout-neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching. The Bigsby tailpiece adds expressive shimmer to your playing, while the anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut grant astounding tuning stability and accurate, slip-free intonation.
A fast-playing 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with unique oval inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the white-bound nato neck with a thin "U"-shaped profile-ideal for chord work or fiery riffing.
Classic '50s and '60s Gretsch eye-catching style is also here-all-new "radio arrow" control knobs, enlarged F-holes for increased acoustic projection, stylized pickup bezels, elegant aged white binding with upgraded purfling, black or tortoise pickguard, slick-looking nickel hardware and remarkable finishes including Brownstone, Forge Glow and Gunmetal.
Nearly impossible to put down once you pick it up and start playing, the G2622T-P90 has the updated sound and classic style that has earned Gretsch accolades since the dawn of rock 'n' roll.
