I purchased this unit, as there was no indication that it did not accommodate the Sony A77, but upon receipt, I found the box stated it would not fit any Sony camera. I sold the unit to a friend who shoots Nikon. The listing for this product states, "The Spark pop-up flash diffuser will work with most DSLR cameras...". Rest assured that it will NOT work with any Sony or Minolta product. Too bad, I think I would have liked it a lot. I'm sorry about the one star rating, but this website requires that I rate it and since it didn't fit my camera and the listing wasn't clear, I can't give it a high rating.

The Spark is easy to install and does diffuse light fairly well, but there is a significant fall-off in the corners. Used along with other light sources (natural or artificial), it does help reduce glare and dark shadows.

Really softens the flash. One thing that I personally had a hard time with was getting the diffuser to slide into the hot shoe the first time. I was concerned that I would break the tab on the diffuser.
